Advanced Tajweed, Qira’ah and HifzThis stage is suitable for students who understand all the Tajweed rules and can apply them. It will focus mainly on recitation and memorisation of the Qur’an from Surah al Baqarah.
Entry requirementsStudents (16yrs and above) who have
previously successfully studied Tajweed.

Intensive 5 day Qira’ah (Recitation) CourseA 5 day course introducing the rules of recitation, and elementary training under the teacher. This course will ensure that students recite their short surahs correctly and get them started on applying the rules of tajweed as they read the Qur’anic text.

able to read the Qur’an in Arabic.

Renowned Hafidh of Qur’an who has achieved a unique Ijazah of recitation under Shaykh AbdulKareem Al-Refa’, Shaykh Mohammad Sukar and Shaykh Abu Al-Hasan AlKurdi of Damascus. He was a reference point in Syria for Tilawah, Tajweed, Hifdh and other Quranic sciences and regularly led Salatul Taraweeh in the “Masjidul Iman” in Damascus where thousands of people prayed behind him. He has taught at Al-Furqaan, the International institute of Islamic sciences, Jaami mahd al Fath and was a judge for Quranic competitions in Libya and Iran.
Introductory Tajweed CourseThis course is suitable for students who are able to recite the Qur’an with a least some basic fluency and are new to Tajweed. Over 50 contact hours it will cover all the rules of Tajweed and applying the rules through recitation of the 30th part of the Qur’an.
