日本には約 2,400 のゴルフコースがあります。日本ゴルフコース設計者協会は、毎年「ゴルフコース設計研修会」を開催して、先人設計の代表コース、協会会員の設計コース、改造設計が行われたコースなど、100 コース以上の視察プレーを行ってきました。多くのゴルフ場の中から今回は、仙塩ゴルフ倶楽部 浦霞コース、大阪ゴルフクラブ、富士カントリークラブ、日本海カントリークラブをご紹介いたします。各コースの紹介に際してゴルフダイジェスト社のご協力により、同社発行の「美しい日本のゴルフコース」から文章と写真を一部引用させて頂きました。ご協力誠に感謝しております。

Thaere are approximately 2400 golf courses in Japan, and Japanese Society of Golf Course Architests has been conducting “ golf course study seminer” every year、visiting as a group, playing those golf courses for the total of more than 100 selected golf courses, around 10 annually, designed by predesessors, our current members, and of those redisigned to furthr deepen our interests and knowledge of designing.Among many, we would like to introduce some of the better ones this time, Sen-en Golf Club, Osaka Golf Club, Fuji Country Club and Nihonkai Country Club to start this series.Thanks to the undrstanding of Golf Digest Sha Co., Ltd to allow us to use their discrip-tions and photographs from their publication “ Beatiful Golf Culture in Japan “, we are extreemly thankful and appreciate all their contribution to make this possible.
