The text below is important. Read it !!!

Hi and welcome to this one of a kind $1 eBook that explains everything one should

know about Blackjack, before risking their money in a Casino or Online Casino. I decidedto sell it for only $1 because I feel knowledge shouldn’t be expensive, and I made many

mistakes in the beginning of my gambling career because blackjack and poker ebooks

cost over $40 each. I am really teaching you all the things one should know before

putting down a bet so this $1 should save you a lot of money lost at gambling. However,

if for any reason, you feel that you didn’t get enough for your buck, contact me on my

site  and I will issue a refund within 48 hours. Read the whole thing through before

gambling. I will concentrate on beating online casinos (because beating live casinos in

near-impossible without being a mathematical genius or cheating). However, some

chapters here (I marked them as “Offline Casino Only” will teach valuable lessons for

playing live physical non-internet casinos (like in Vegas), so you can read them if that’s

your thing or just for general knowledge.

The methods I describe here are based on real statistics that I do my best to explain

simply to people without academic knowledge in the field of statistics. Profit margins in

my method are good but obviously they are not insane: you will not get 2000% return

in one hour like some liars promise just to sell their fake gambling systems. This is not a

“give me $49.99 and I will show you how to make $50,000 in one hour at blackjack”

kind of eBook. If you are looking for that kind of lie, look somewhere else.

Still, if you read this whole eBook through, you will know how to work the odds to

your advantage and have the upper hand on the casino.

So have fun reading, and don’t forget to subscribe to my email list where I teach you

new gambling tips and tricks. I will also give you some of my new products (that are

sold for much more than $1) for free. Don’t hesitate and subscribe now!

Disclaimer

In this eBook I explain several Blackjack strategies which will improve your chances at a

Blackjack game (especially an online blackjack game). Most of these strategies are

commonly known. You can read about them on the internet or in certain blackjack

books.

However, you must understand that Blackjack is still a GAMBLING game that relies on

chance among other factors. Hence, you might lose money. Just like I don’t expect you

to share a portion of your winnings with me, I take no responsibility for any money you

may lose using the methods described in this eBook.

Please do me (and yourselves) a favor and NEVER GAMBLE WITH MONEY YOU CAN’T

AFFORD TO LOSE!!!

Have fun!

Why Blackjack?

Blackjack is one of the few Casino games where your actions and decisions have an

effect on your odds of beating the house and earning money instead of losing it (unlike

roulette, craps which are all about luck). Playing Blackjack without really knowing whatyou are doing gives the house an edge of 8-2% over the gambler (This varying on the

number of decks played. The more decks, the casino has a better edge). This means

that on the long run, you will lose 8-2% of the money you bet each round.

Fortunately, back in 1956, an article was released, containing and explaining the

"Blackjack Basic Strategy". This is a set of 'guidelines' the gambler should play by, in

order to decrease the Casino's edge dramatically. This set of guidelines is based on

complex statistical analysis, done mostly by computers.

Playing the "Blackjack Basic Strategy" reduces the house’s edge to about 0.5% (again,

depending on the number of decks played. If played with one deck, the gambler will

actually have the edge over the house). There are further methods of improving your

odds (card counting and others) which will be described in the end of this eBook and

only work in live offline casinos. card counting is useless in online casinos. This is

because the casino software “shuffles” the decks after each round because unlike non-

internet casinos where card counting is hard, it is very simple online (with computersoftware of your own). The advantage of this is that online casinos offer 2 deck games

(better odds for the gambler) whereas offline casinos usually have a minimum of 6 deck

games.

Blackjack is so unique because it offers the best odds against the casinos to players

who play the game well, and on the other hand had terrible odds for players who play

only by intuition without learning how to play right.

Since most players are of the latter type, casinos love blackjack and offer many ways

to play it! So let's start learning how to actually win at Blackjack...

The Blackjack Rules (Taken from Wikipedia) (If you know the rules, skip this chapter)

I assume that if you are reading this eBook, you already know the Blackjack rules (if

you do, feel free to skip this chapter), but just in case you don't, this is for you. Keep in

mind that there are also special rules that apply only in some Casinos so make sure youknow a Casino's special rules before gambling.

The Rules:

Each player is dealt two cards and is then offered the opportunity to take more. The

hand with the highest total wins as long as it doesn't exceed 21; a hand with a higher

total than 21 is said to bust or have too many. Cards 2 through 10 are worth their face

value, and face cards (jack, queen, king) are also worth 10. An ace's value is 11 unlessthis would cause the player to bust, in which case it is worth 1. A hand in which an ace's

value is counted as 11 is called a soft hand, because it cannot be busted if the player

draws another card.

The goal of each player is to beat the dealer by having the higher, unbusted hand.

Note that if the player busts he loses, even if the dealer also busts (therefore Blackjack

favors the dealer, and the house has the edge). If both the player and the dealer have

the same point value, it is called a "push", and neither player nor dealer wins the hand. Each player has an independent game with the dealer, so it is possible for the dealer to

lose to one player, but still beat the other players in the same round.

The minimum bet is printed on a sign on the table and varies from casino to casino

and even table to table. After initial bets are placed, the dealer deals the cards, either

from one or two hand-held decks of cards, known as a "pitch" game, or more

commonly from a shoe containing four or more decks. The dealer gives two cards to

each player, including himself. One of the dealer's two cards is face-up so all the players

can see it, and the other is face down. (The face-down card is known as the "hole card".

In European blackjack, the hole card is not actually dealt until the players all play their

hands.) The cards are dealt face up from a shoe, or face down if it is a pitch game.

A two-card hand of 21 (an ace plus a ten-value card) is called a "blackjack" or a

"natural", and is an automatic winner. A player with a natural is usually paid 3:2 on his

bet. Some casinos pay only 6:5 on blackjacks; although this reduced payout has

generally been restricted to single-deck games where card counting would otherwise

be a viable strategy. The move was decried by longtime blackjack players.

The player's options for playing his or her hand are:

• Hit: Take another card.• Stand: Take no more cards.

• Double down: Double the wager; take exactly one more card, and then stand.

• Split: Double the wager and have each card be the first card in a new hand. This

option is available only when both cards have the same value.

• Surrender: Forfeit half the bet and give up the hand. Surrender was common

during the early- and mid-20th century, but is no longer offered at most casinos.

The player's turn is over after deciding to stand, doubling down to take a single card,

or busting. If the player busts, he or she loses the bet even if the dealer goes on to bust.

After all the players have finished making their decisions, the dealer then reveals his

or her hidden hole card and plays the hand. House rules say that the dealer must hit

until he or she has at least 17, regardless of what the players have. In some casinos a

dealer must also hit a soft 17 (a combination of cards adding up to either 7 or 17, such

as an ace and a 6).

If the dealer busts then all remaining players win. Bets are normally paid out at theodds of 1:1.

Some common rules variations include:

• Only one card for split Aces: a single new card is added to each Ace and the turn

ends. They are thus regarded as 11-point cards. No other denomination is subject to

this process.

• Multiple splits: If a player splits 2 cards and receives a third card of identical

value, the hand can be split again, resulting in 3 hands. However, some casinos only

allow a single split of the first 2 cards.

• Early surrender: Player has the option to surrender before dealer checks for

Blackjack.

• Late surrender: Player has the option to surrender after dealer checks for

Blackjack.

• Double-down restrictions: Double-down may only be allowed on certain

combinations of cards (usually totaling 9, 10 or 11).

• Double-down after split: Double-down may not be allowed after splitting cards. The split hands are played normally otherwise.

• Split any tens: Players may split any 2 cards which are both worth 10 points, such

as a Jack and Queen. This rule is rarely used, since 20 is a very strong hand which is

unlikely to be split.

• European No-Hole-Card Rule: the dealer receives only one card, dealt face-up,

and does not receive a second card (and thus does not check for blackjack) untilplayers have acted. This means players lose not only their original bet, but also any

additional money invested from splitting and doubling down. A game that has no-

hole-card doesn't necessarily mean you will lose additional bets as well as original

bets. In Australia for example, a player beaten by a dealer blackjack may keep all

split and double bets and lose only the original bet, thus the game plays the same as

it would if there were a hole card.

There are more than a few blackjack variations which can be found in the casinos,

each has its own set of rules, strategies and odds. It is advised to take a look at the rulesof the specific variation before playing. Many countries have legal acts and laws, which

determine how a casino game of Blackjack must be played.

The push: When you and the dealer get the same numbers, you can either stay in the

game and take a chance at winning double your money or take your money back and

start a new hand.

Insurance (Not Very Useful – I Advise Not Using It):

If the dealer's up card is an Ace, the player is offered the option of taking Insurance

before the dealer checks his 'hole card'.

The player who wishes to take Insurance can bet an amount up to half his original

bet. The Insurance bet is placed separately on a special portion of the table, which

usually carries the words "Insurance Pays 2:1". The player who is taking Insurance is

betting that the dealer was dealt a natural, i.e. a two-card 21 (a blackjack), and this bet

by the player pays off 2:1 if it wins. It is called insurance since if the dealer has a

blackjack, the bet wins the same amount of the players Blackjack wager, such that if

insurance is taken and the player doesn't have blackjack but dealer does, no money is

lost. Of course the dealer can end up not having blackjack and the player can still win or

lose the blackjack bet.

Insurance is a bad bet for the player who has no knowledge of the hole card because

it has a house edge of approximately 7%. Even for the player who has been dealt a

natural (a two-card 21) it is unwise to take Insurance. In such a case, the dealer usually

asks the player "Even money?" This means that instead of 3:2, the player with the

natural accepts to be paid off at 1:1. Thus it is exactly the same thing as buying

Insurance, losing the Insurance bet and getting paid 3:2 on the natural.

In casinos where a hole card is dealt, a dealer who is showing a card with a value of

Ace or 10 may slide the corner of his or her facedown card over a small mirror orelectronic sensor on the tabletop in order to check whether he has a natural. This

practice minimizes the risk of inadvertently revealing the hole card, which would give

the sharp-eyed player a considerable advantage. In some countries, such as Australia,

no face down card is dealt to the dealer until it is his turn to play his hand. This makes

the game more complicated since the dealer must keep track of busted split bets since

if the dealer ends up drawing a Blackjack the players lose only their original bets and do

not lose double or busted split bets.

Understand Why the House always usually wins:

Well, it's pretty simple really… The rules of Blackjack basically state that you can bust

and lose your money, before the dealer even reveals his face-down card. Combine this

with the fact that most gamblers don't have a clue about basic strategy, and most even

take long-shot "hunch" decisions against all statistical knowledge and just plain reason,

and you'll understand how casinos make a LOT of money.

Why do they usually win and not always? Since I good players can make the bonus

work against the casino!

Understand how you can beat the odds:

The competition in the online gambling scene is HUGE. This causes sites to offer great

Bonuses for gamblers just for signing-up. They're actually giving you free money

(depending on the fact that you wager a certain amount of money on their onlinegambling services).

Some sites will actually give you 100% of what you deposit. So if you deposit

$100, you get $100 FREE, depending to the fact that you have to Wager $2000.

Playing Basic Blackjack Strategy on a 2 deck game (common in online casinos because

they don’t have to worry about card counting which is easier with less decks) you will

probably lose about $2000 X 0.5 % = $10 loss. So you lost $10 from you initial wages,

but earned a bonus of $100. You total profit $90 for about 45-60 minutes play! Howabout that?!

This system is amazing because once you get the hang of this, you can (and will) do it

on a bigger scale. Your $100 deposit will turn into a $1000 deposit (and so will the

bonus) and you profit for these 45-60 minutes play will be $900!!! Don’t get tempted to

start wagering large amount too soon, practice the system and see that it works for

you!

Take in mind that the casinos know about this system and so some state in the fine

print of their bonus that it can’t be used by blackjack players. It is extremely important

to read the fine print of the Bonuses given by the casinos to make sure that there is no

catch. Since you paid me for this ebook, I do this for you to make sure you can profit

using my system. There is a list on page 16 explaining what the best casinos are, and

you can also find them on Trusted Casinos With Good Bonus Plans.

That was Just to get you psyched up! I will explain more about that later in "Why Betat Online Casinos?" Now it’s time to start learning. Don’t worry, it's pretty simple.

Getting started: Basic Strategy:

Since blackjack has an element of player choice, players can reduce casino advantage

to a small percentage (0.5%) by playing basic strategy. This is a system that determines

when to hit or to stand, and also determines when to double down or split. Basic

strategy is based on the player's point total and the dealer's visible card. There are

slight variations depending on the house rules and number of decks. Simply, it is a table

of actions for every situation. There are many tables, for different numbers of decks

and different sets of rules. But here I will show and explain the best one for 2 deck

games in online casinos. I have a page on my site that describes other tables for other

deck numbers and rule sets. It’s really easy to understand.

On the next page you can see the basic strategy table for a 2 deck game under

general rules. It is pretty simple to follow. There are explanations on the page after.

Important Tip:

The Blackjack basic strategy works. That is a fact. However,

instead of using it when you play you can use a blackjack calculator

which is much faster and more accurate because it adjusts to the

specific rule set you are playing.

The two best blackjack calculators:

Check Out Blackjack Reaper (Best)!

Check Out Blackjack Sniper (Second Best)!

That's all there is to it. Stick to these basic actions to improve your odds! For example

if you get a 7 and a 6, and the dealer has an 8, you have a hard 13, and according to the

chart, it is in your best interest to HIT. If you have an Ace and a 5, and the dealer has a

5, according to the chart, it is in your best interest to DOUBLE. If you have two Aces, nomatter what the dealer has, you best odds are to SPLIT.

This is a Multiple Deck Strategy Chart But it's still pretty basic, there are more

accurate charts for specific numbers of decks and certain rules.

In General, this chart will improve your odds dramatically, but if you're going to

gamble a lot, and really want to hit a homerun, I recommend a chart that is more

specific to the kind of game you are playing (4,6,8 decks in the shoe and so on) or a

blackjack calculator like  Blackjack Reaper. You can get these on various sites on the

internet. Most live casinos won't let you sit at the tables with lots of messy charts, but

you can have a small one (about the size of a credit card), they don't mind and even sell

them at the Casino's gift shops. You can get digital copies of these charts for free on

many sites on the net or buy the card from eBay for about $1. Take in mind that online

casinos will have lower decks in the shoe (which is good for the gambler), but they

reshuffle the deck after every round to avoid card counting with computer software.

By the way, if any site ever tries to sell you any kind of software or product telling

that it is based on counting cards in an online casino, IT IS A SCAM! Card counting is not

possible in online casinos and if it was possible, the casinos would go bankrupt (as

players would have a 1.5% advantage over the house.

Avoiding Casino Cheats:

By now you know that Blackjack is a game of statistics. Now imagine how easy it is to

cheat you. At an online Casino the computer software could be programmed to make

you bust or give the dealer a Blackjack every 50 rounds and you would never know and just think you had bad luck. This also happens at live Casinos; it takes the skills of the

average stage magician to check the first card of the deck and decide if it's in the

Casinos best interest to give you this card or a different one. What would removing two

paint cards and adding a 5 to the deck do to your odds? It would destroy you, bringing

the house advantage to %9 per bet!

That is why the gamblers community consistently checks both Online and Offline

Casinos for authenticity in various ways, and occasionally bans Casinos for fraud.Casinos must also publish their payout rates, stating the average return rate on the

average gamble (usually between 94% and 99%). However, it doesn't mean that you

can just bet wherever you want, or rely on these stats you are given! Bet only at trusted

Online Casinos (I have composed a list of trusted online casinos with bonuses sufficient

to earn nice sums on page 16). When you're at the real live casino, always stay sharp,

never drink too much and make sure the dealer see's it's not wise to try and fool you.

Why Bet at Online Casinos?

Now, the part you've been waiting for… "How can I actually profit from gambling?!"

Well, as I explained before the competition in the online gambling scene is HUGE. That

causes sites to offer great Bonuses for people just for signing-up and gambling. They'reactually giving you free money (depending on the fact that you wager a certain amount

of money on their online gambling services).

Some sites will actually give you 100% of what you deposit. So if you deposit $100,

you get $100 FREE! You have to Wager $2000 and playing Basic Blackjack Strategy you

will probably lose about $2000 X 0.5 % = $10 loss. You profit $90! This takes about half

an hour to accomplish, but hey, I think it’s a really nice payout.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not telling you to quit your day job (or whatever it is that

you do), and start a career at online gambling! I'm also not telling you that I can teach

you an amazing system which you can use to enter a Casino with 500$ and leave with

50,000$, and I'm going to reveal my secrets for a onetime payment of 49.95$ (Mainly

because no such thing exists). I'm simply giving you an option of making money taking

advantage of the fact that online Casinos are willing to go a long way and dig deep in

their pockets, to attract new amateur gamblers. The thing is, having read this eBook;

you are not an amateur any more.

Another great advantage in online casinos is to speed the game up and avoid

mistakes by using a blackjack calculator.

All I'm saying is give this system a shot; if you read this, you probably gamble anyway.

So do yourself a favor and do it the smart way! Casinos are aware of the fact that

people are using this system, but they still keep the bonuses high because for each

player that learns this system and earns the bonus back (and sometimes more) there

are dozens of people just throwing money away! They hit when they shouldn’t, they

split tens and do all kinds of things that are just wrong. You should be thanking them

though, because if they didn’t do all this, there is now way that the casinos would be

paying you 100% bonus on your deposit.

A List of Trusted Online Casinos:

Take in mind that the casinos know about this system and so some state in the fine

print of their bonus that it can’t be used by blackjack players. It is extremely important

to read the fine print of the Bonuses given by the casinos to make sure that there is nocatch. Since you paid me for this ebook, I do this for you to make sure you can profit

because it can be beaten! Here is a list explaining what the best casinos are, but by the

time you read this, bonus plans may have changed so you can also read Trusted Casinos

Bet 365:

Just a casino I like!

Actually the bonus here is not all that great because you

have to wager (in Blackjack) 300(!) times the initial deposit

to get the bonus. Well, you can’t blame them really; they

don’t want systems like the one I taught you to bring them

down.

I still put it in the list because they are fair and have good

two deck games and nice software.

anywhere.

They have a 98.42% payout rate. Since the bonus is

active for using 25 time the deposit and blackjack

counts for 1/3 wager. You will lose 0.5% playing basic

strategy. So if you deposit $400 you lose

3*25*400*0.005 dollars which is $150, but you will

get a bonus of 2*400=800 dollars. Combine that with

Conclusion!

I Hope you enjoyed this eBook and learned a thing or two. If you read the whole

thing through, you are more than capable of going out and earning nice amounts of

money at the casinos.

Let me just remind you that Blackjack is still a gambling game; the odds might

surprise you in any way. Just like you could win $1000 in one lucky night, you could lose

them along with another $1000 the next night. That is why I ask you two things:

1.  DON’T GAMBLE WITH MONEY YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE!

2.  When using any gambling system, work small and move your way up to

bigger goals. Don’t start with huge bets! Use them only when you are certain

about what you are doing!

People have ruined their families and their own lives gambling carelessly so don’t

make stupid mistakes!! (And again, don’t come crying to me if you do happen to

lose money).

Extra Chapters!Live Casino Only! Easy Card Counting:

From This section onwards, systems refer only to playing live offline casinos (likein Vegas)! It doesn’t work in online casinos because the computer software shuffles

the deck after each round! Moreover, card counting pros usually work in teams as

the casinos forbid it.

If you still want to know about card counting, read on. I know what you’re thinking

"I’m not the d**n Rainman! How does he expect me to remember all the cards played

in the game?!"

Well, I don’t. Actually, there are very simple methods of card counting that

practically anyone can master very fast. I will only explain one of these simple

methods and if you want to learn more complex methods, search the web for relevant

information. Before doing so, you should know that these complex methods only give

a 0.15% edge over the simple ones, so I recommend not bothering with them.

So what is card counting? Card counting is a mathematical system meant to keep

track of every card dealt in the game, implementing on which cards are still left in the

deck to be played.

Here is a small passage from Wikipedia about Dr. Edward Thorp, the man who

made all this possible:

Dr. Edward Oakley Thorp (born in August 14, 1932, Chicago) is an American

mathematics professor, author, and blackjack player. He is widely known as the

author of the 1962 book "Beat the Dealer", which was the first book to prove

mathematically that blackjack could be beaten by card counting. The technique

eliminated the advantage of the house, which had an estimated maximum of

approximately 5% (when following strategies with the smallest possibility of winning,

either mimicking the dealer or never busting), and instead gave the player an

advantage of approximately 1%.

The reason this helps us is that if we know what 'kind' of cards are left in the deck

(generally, more high cards in the deck are better for us, and more low cards are

better for the casino), we can manage our wagers accordingly. If we know that 10 low

value cards have been played, but only one high value card, then we should increase

the size of our bets, because our odds have improved. That's why it's very important

to keep track of each and every card played.

Most card counting systems start with a count of 0. This means that when you firstsit down at a blackjack table, the count is 0. Depending on which counting system you

are using, this count will change with every card that is dealt. You must keep track of

not only the cards that you are being dealt, but every single card dealt to every player

and to the dealer.

When the card count is positive, this generally means there have been lower cards

played and the deck now has a higher percentage of larger cards. When the deck has a

high percentage of larger cards, the player has several different advantages:

• You Will Be Dealt More Blackjacks

• You Will Be Dealt Stronger and Higher Starting Hands

• Dealer Will Bust More Often

When a card count is high, the player bets larger amounts of money because they

have a higher mathematical advantage (better odds). However, when then card countdrops, you must wager smaller amounts, or even leave to a different table.

Sometimes people believe they have a 'lucky table'. That is a big mistake. If you had

nice profits from a table, the odds will usually change back the other way, it's not luck,

its statistics.

In most US jurisdictions, card counting is legal and is not considered cheating.

However, most casinos have the right to ban players, with or without cause, and cardcounting is frequently used as a justification to ban a player. Usually, the casino host

will simply inform the player that he is no longer welcome to play at that casino.

Players must be careful not to signal the fact that they are counting. The use of

electronic or other counting devices is usually illegal and almost always prohibited by

the casino.

As mentioned, I will describe a simple counting method known as Hi-Lo count. Hi-Lo

Count:Hi-Lo is the most common balanced counting system, this means that if you count

the whole deck with this system, you would end up exactly how you started: with 0 !

All you have to do with this system is to learn the following table:

2,3,4,5,6  count +1 7,8,9  count 0

10, j, Q, K, Ace  count -1

As you can see, there are separate groups of card values. The 20 small cards (2-6)

are counted as plus 1 as they are played. The 12 middle cards (7-9) are considered

neutral cards and do not change the count as they are played. The 20 big cards (10-

Ace) are counted as minus 1 as they are played.

Page 25: Beating Online Casinos at Blackjack

With this simple system, it's very easy to keep track. Let's say the cards drawn on the

first round where 2, Ace, K, 9, 4, 5, 7 and 6. The 2,4,5 and 6, each subtract 1 from the

count. The seven is neutral. The Ace and King each add 1 to the count. So we are left

with 0+4-2= 2. The count is positive, so now would be a good time to increase our

wagers. Easy isn’t it?

This system is my personal favorite and there's a reason it's the most common

system used in black jack teams, it's simple and effective!

This system only has one problem. Imagine that you have a +4 count which is a nice

advantage. Or is it? If there are 4 decks left to play, you have a +1 advantage per deck. If

there are 2 decks left to play, you have a +2 advantage per deck and if there is one

deck, you have a +4 advantage. This is referred to as "The true count". According tostatistics, each positive count, gives you an edge of 0.5% against the Casino, so playing

basic strategy, at +2, you already have an edge against the Casino. That’s why you

always need to take in consideration the true count and not the running count.

You can also use computer programs such as blackjack calculators. A Blackjack

calculator is a very useful tool, though the free ones, aren’t known for their accuracy ;)

The calculator will draw you a table like the basic strategy chart according to specific

parameters you fill in. For instance it just figured out for me that if I was playing a 6

deck game, and 8 'number 5' cards had already been drawn, I would have a 0.235%

edge over the house playing the specific table it drew for me. A casino will never let you

use something like this, and some online-casinos forbid it in their policy, but it's a tool

you should be familiar with.

Online gamblers should not bother with all this as card counting is irrelevant in

online gaming.

Live Casino Only! Picking a table:

Part of a gambler’s strategy is picking the right bets on the right tables. If you had some

good first rounds, with many tens, royalties and Aces, leave the table with the small

profits you made when you Hi-Lo count is at -4! Don't hope that the luck will continuebecause that was your luck, and if you continue playing you'll end up where you started.

It's time to move on to a different table.

If you had profits although the majority of the cards dealt where Positive count cards,

this is the break you've been waiting for! This table has a high revenue potential, since the

good cards are yet to arrive! Stay at the table and play by the system.

If you lose money on the rounds with many good cards (tens and aces), leave this table, don't wait for the upper hand, you won't have it on this table.

In most games, the count will stay about even, you will have to play by the strategy,

count cards, and wait for the right opportunity to strike (or quit).

Never join tables if you sense the other players there are amateurs; this will distract

you and hurt your odds.

Live Casino Only! Dealer Tells:

This is only relevant to a real live Casino! You don't have this benefit at Online

Casinos (you have much better benefits online).

On the James Bond feature "Casino Royale", James Bond meets the villain "Le

Chiffre" at a poker table for a game wagering about 100 million dollars (can't remember

the exact number and it doesn't really matter). Le Chiffre is a mathematical genius and

wins hands by calculating his odds, as opposed to his opponent's. James Bond is a spy

and his gift is reading people's facial expressions and body language, helping him in

calling his opponent's bluffs.

Every strategy I've explained so far is Le Chiffre's style, based on mathematicalcalculations, and statistical certainties. The 'Dealer Tells' method is James Bond's style;

it's based on reading people and requires a certain talent at it.

‘Dealer tells’ are subconscious gestures or expressions that a Blackjack dealer might

make without knowing about it. If you can learn to spot dealer tells, you can greatly

increase your edge in blackjack.

Though some people will discredit it, the ‘Dealer tells’ definitely works and improvesyour edge if you use it correctly. One thing to keep in mind when it comes to dealer

tells is that not all dealers will show expressive tells. You might play several different

tables before finding a blackjack table with a dealer that has noticeable tells.

One of the most common types of dealer tells is that the dealer accidentally reveals

his hole (under) card. To pull this tell off you must carefully watch how long the dealer

glances at the hole card and at what type of angle he bends the card at to be able to

clearly see his under card before continuing game play. This tell has two commonvariations:

• Dealer has a stiff card (2,3,4,5,6) in the hole, and is required to lift the card a bit

more than usual to make sure it's not an Ace. The hardest card to spot at first glance is

the 4, and even experienced dealers might sometimes have to re-lift it.

• The opposite of that is obviously a high or paint card (8,9,10,J,Q,K). The dealer will

need a very brief glance at the under card (that seems faster than usual); there is a

good chance he's holding a paint card or a card larger than a 7.

Page 28: Beating Online Casinos at Blackjack

If you're looking for additional information on blackjack dealer tells, Search the

Internet, but if you think you are good enough to catch dealer tells then blackjack is

not your game and you should be moving on to Poker (read my poker writings)!

Live Casino Only! Shuffle Tracking:

Shuffle tracking is a very difficult and extreme method, used by pro's that if

executed correctly, could give you a huge edge, but if not, could be disastrous

for you.

This technique, mainly applicable in multi-deck games (aka shoes), involves

tracking groups of cards (aka slugs, clumps, packs) during the play of the shoe,

following them through the shuffle and then playing and betting accordinglywhen those cards come into play from the new shoe. This technique, which is

admittedly much more difficult than straight card counting and requires

excellent eyesight and powers of visual estimation, has the additional benefit of

fooling the casino people who are monitoring the player's actions and the

count, since the shuffle tracker could be, at times, betting and/or playing

opposite to how a straightforward card counter would.

Arnold Snyder's articles in Blackjack Forum magazine brought shuffle trackingto the general public. His book, The Shuffle Tracker's Cookbook, mathematically

analyzed the player edge available from shuffle tracking based on the actual

size of the tracked slug. Jerry L. Patterson also developed and published a

shuffle-tracking method for tracking favorable clumps of cards and cutting

them into play and tracking unfavorable clumps of cards and cutting them out

of play. Other legal methods of gaining a player advantage at Blackjack include

a wide variety of techniques for gaining information about the dealer’s hole-

card or the next card to be dealt.

Card tracking is restricted when the casino uses a half-cut, or what is known

inside houses as 'The Big C'. This is when the shoe is cut halfway, meaning that

only half of the shoe will be played, and so on an 8-deck shoe, only 4 decks will

be played and thereafter shuffled. As card tracking relies on the principles of

elimination, the half-cut makes it virtually impossible to eliminate or predict the

remaining cards. Another exception to card tracking is the introduction of

automatic shuffler machines, thereby making it impossible to track cards

because the shoe is non-stop.
