MESSAGE FROM MRS. KENNAUGH I am still recuperating from the complications that arose after my accident. Recovery has taken much longer than I anticipated or had hoped; as such, I will continue to work about four hours per day for the remainder of the school year. Former Neff Elementary principal Ed Armstrong is providing principal support through the last day of school. I am hopelessly optimistic that I will be back to 100% when we kick off the 2014-15 school year! The students are getting anxious with the summertime weather, however, we still have lots of teaching and learning happening every day. Will you please remind your child that our expectations are the same as they have been all year in terms of work ethic, behavior, and dress code? As always, if you have any questions or would like to discuss any concerns, please contact me.

ATTENTION PARENTS OF 6TH GRADERS

Sports Physicals will be offered here at the high school in the gym downstairs on Wednesday, May 28, from 6-8 p.m. Please enter by the stairs at the pool entrance. Cost is $25.00 cash and physicals will be valid for next school year. All students (grades 7-12) trying out for a sport for the 2014/15 school year must have a physical card on file in the Athletic Office before practice begins. Physicals must be dated April 15, 2014 or after to be valid for this next school year. Students who do not take advantage of physicals being offered at school are responsible to make their own arrangements to have a physical and turn the card into their coach or the Athletic Office prior to the first practice.

6th Grade Recognition: To celebrate the end of your student's elementary experience, we would like to invite parents/guardians to the Beagle Sixth Grade Recognition at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10 in the Beagle gym. This casual ceremony will run from approximately

7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Winters will direct her last Beagle event with a short performance from “Perfect Pitch”, a cappella group. Also for the first time, Sixth Grade band students will perform under the direction of Kayla Cicola. Sixth grade students will then be called up to receive their certificate of completion. Immediately following this presentation we invite students and families to join us in the cafeteria for a reception courtesy of our Beagle PTO.
