~ MESSAGE FROM MRS KENNAUGH ~Our school is once again
participating in the Sumdogcontest. It begins today and goes
through next Thursday.
I hope all of our Beagle students will participate. The toppoint
earner in each class will receive a prize, and the topthree point
earners in the school will receive passes toImpression Five. So,
log on this weekend, and have fun!
In todays Friday folder, youll find a flyer for purchasinga
Beagle Rocks t-shirt. The shirt was designed by ourvery own Mr.
Burns. What a great opportunity for staffand students! Thank you,
Mr. Burns!
We are looking forward to our PTO-sponsored Science
Night that will take place next Friday from 6:30-8:00 p.m.Please
join us for many hands-on activities and displays
by our very own Beagle students. Thank you to all ofthose PTO
members who worked to ensure this event is asuccess!

Beagle R.O.C.K.S Night at McDonalds
Mark your calendar for Wednesday, April 17th. We wibe having a
Beagle ROCKS night at the McDonalds
located at the intersection of Grand River and M-100
from 4:00 8:00 p.m. McDonalds will donate 15% ofall sales during
that time (both drive thru and in-store)
Beagles Student Activities Fund. For every 5-meal carthat is
punched and turned in, Beagle will receive anadditional $5.

ATTENTION: 5th Grade ParentsSchools in Michigan will be required
to report thefollowing immunization status of all children
enteringkindergarten, all 6th grade students, and all children
11through 18 years of age who are changing school districts.All
students must have documentation from a healthprofessional of the
following immunizations:
Three doses of polio vaccine Two doses of measles/mumps/rubella
(MMR) vaccine Three doses of hepatitis B vaccine (this is a series
of 3shots)NEWTwo doses of chickenpox (varicella) vaccineafter 12
months of age (or approximate date of
chickenpox disease).
NEWOne dose of meningococcal vaccine (11-18 yrold students)
NEW Complete series of diphtheria/pertussis/tetanusvaccine (DTP,
DtaP, DT, or Td), with one dose of Tdapin the last five years (for
ALL incoming 6th graders
and 11-18 yr old students changing school districts)
The new requirements will help assure that all
school-agedchildren are protected against
vaccine-preventablediseases. If your child needs immunizations, you
shouldcontact your physician or the local health department. Ifyou
have any questions regarding school immunizationrequirements, you
may call the Barry-Eaton District
Health Department at 485-7110.

Mileage club is off to a rainy start this year. Werhoping for
the weather to improve next week!
Mileage Club volunteers are needed for April andMay to help out
at the track during lunch recess

SPRING CROSS COUNTRY CLUB
Spring cross-country is being offered to all studenin the 5th
and 6th grades starting Tuesday, April 16The club will meet on
Tuesdays and Thursdaysfrom 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. If you are interested,
