BiWire Ultra, how it works Reducing cable run and installation timeEaton’s BiWire Ultra is a two-state system that allows detection and alarm circuits to share the same cable.

It’s as simple to operate and install as a standard conventional system but BiWire Ultra allows detectors, sounders and beacons to all share the same zone wiring, delivering significant savings in both cable and installation costs.

Installation with BiWire Ultra is more economic, a two zone system only requires two circuits. A conventional fire system would need four circuits to do the same job, as each zone would require a circuit for detection and another circuit for notification (sounder & beacons).
