How far have we come? The Center was founded in 1989 by an active group of seniors seeking a place to meet, socialize and learn from each other. On March 30, 1990 the Articles of Incorporation were signed for Holley Navarre Senior Association, Inc. January 7, 1993 an amendment was file with a name change to Holley Navarre Seniors Association, Inc. With much voluntary labor and community support the members completed construction of the main building on two large lots donated by the Pullum Family. The building was named the E. H. Pullum Building.

When membership reached 352 in 2003, the building was expanded by enclosing the pavilion and attaching it to the existing building; this made a nice large meeting and activities room. This also was completed by volunteer labor and community support.

The end of 2014 membership had grown to 501. We (that’s you and me) own the buildings and grounds. This is for all of US to “have and hold” and also to maintain. All upkeep and general operations of the Center should be supported by members. The Center receives NO funds from county, state, or the federal government.

Now is the time to step up and help support your Center. Let’s have fun working together to make our Center the best place to “Be Happy” in 2018.

A BIG THANKS TO Irene McKinney and Sara Montoya for Hosting the Christmas Pot Luck. Mmmm good! They will also be the Pot Luck Hostesses in January.
