These courses address the growing demand for high quality technical human resource requirements across the manufacturing sector. With an emphasis on Teacher-Trainee engagement, following best-in-class traditions of the learning process, GTTC has beneted a large populace across the State, with remarkable dedication and professionalism, over the last four and half decades.

TRUSTED HERITAGE A message from the Managing Director

GTTC also offers several short-term courses under the Chief Minister's Kaushalya Karnataka Yojane (CMKKY) for BE, Diploma and ITI holders.

With a focus on hands-on practical training, rather than theoretical learning, our students work on high-end equipment like CNC machines, advanced robots, 3D printers, and master the latest design softwares.

The Government Tool Room and Training Centre (GTTC) is a recognized Scientic & Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) under Council for Scientic and Industrial Research (CSIR). The Diploma and M.Tech programs offer industry-oriented, high-end, technical training. Carefully designed in consultation with major industry partners our courses are AICTE approved, and are among the best in the country to offer. For the past 48 years GTTC has achieved nearly 100% placement for its Diploma and M.Tech holders and it's alumni are in great demand in India and abroad.

The doors of GTTC are open to students who are willing to go through the rigours of world-class training, and get prepared to champion the future technology.

The Centers of Excellence set up in association with M/s. Siemens & M/s. Dassault Systems, further enrich learning, at several of our Centres. Our faculty members are experienced industry professionals from the forefront of technology.

The program will teach the skills of manufacturing techniques in latest machinery, both Conventional & CNC machines, in Process Planning and Quality Assurance. It will include instructions in blueprint interpretation, theory, mathematics, CNC / CAM / CAE and Jigs & Fixtures.

This course will introduce students to modern manufacturing techniques, including Programming and Computer Assisted Manufacturing (CAM). It will cover both, the theory and practical aspects of Modern Metal Machining and Cutting, while focusing on programming advanced manufacturing techniques and interpreting engineering drawings.

PRECISION MANUFACTURING

The objective of this program is to ensure students acquire the requisite theoretical and practical skills in the Tool & Die and Jigs & Fixtures making trades. Skills would be enhanced by instructions in blueprint interpretation, theory, mathematics, and exposure to the latest manufacturing and component-processing techniques, such as Power Presses and Plastic Injection Moulding machines.

Die Making is a sub-genre of Tool Making, focused on the manufacture and maintenance of Precision Tools, Moulds & Dies, for mass production of components. This often includes manufacturing Die Sets, Mould bases, Precision Punches & Dies, Core & Cavities, Jigs & Fixtures, etc. Precision accuracy is essential in die making and maintaining a proper clearance is essential to produce parts accurately.
