United Way fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person here in Erie County. We are more than fund-raisers. We are hand-raisers. We raise our hands not only to lead the fight, but to reach out to people who need help. And hope. We win when we LIVE UNITED.®

By forging unlikely partnerships. By finding new solutions to old problems. By mobilizing the best resources. And by inspiring individuals to join the fight against their community’s most daunting social crises.

So who are the hand-raisers, the game-changers? They’re people who know that at the core of every human being is a desire to do good. Who recognize the power that comes from a shared purpose. Who understand they’re always stronger together than they are alone. In Erie County, it means people like you.

United Way of Erie County needs you to join the fight. Because your passion, expertise and resources will help the fight become a win. A win that’s not just a short-term contribution, but a long-term solution. We are part of a network of 1,800 United Ways in 41 countries and territories. But the place that needs you most is right here, in Erie County, Ohio. So raise your hand if you’re ready to be that game-changer. Because United we fight, United we win. We have one life. To live better, we must LIVE UNITED.®

A MESSAGE FROM MARIS BRENNER, BOARD PRESIDENT, UNITED WAY OF ERIE COUNTY.

UNITED WAY FIGHTS FOR THE HEALTH, EDUCATION AND FINANCIAL STABILITY OF EVERY PERSON IN THIS COMMUNITY. We are one community, and we need your help.

Many in Erie County give to the United Way through payroll deduction. Many give directly via our web site, uwerieco.org. Others mail a personal check to our offices: United Way of Erie County, 416 Columbus Avenue, Suite One, Sandusky, OH 44870. No matter how you give, it is important that you give what you can to make a real difference in our community.

United Way continues to lead the fight for people who clearly need our help. We evaluate and support specific programs of many caring agencies. Programs that focus on the education, health, and financial stability of our neighbors in need. We carefully select programs that meet our strict criteria and deliver measurable results against

one or more of these critical priorities.

These programs deliver in a continuous fight against the never-ending challenges faced by so many who live right here among us. They make a difference.

United we fight. United we win. LIVE UNITED. Donate. Volunteer. Advocate. Help us make a difference right here in Erie County. The money that we raise here, stays here.

On behalf of our Board and the many Volunteers, I thank you for your support!
