The best way to know St. Hubert is to experience it firsthand, and so we invite all interested eighth grade and prospective transfer students to participate in our Shadow Program. Beginning in November of each academic year, SH provides opportunities for girls to spend a day “shadowing” a current student. The prospective student will spend the day accompanying her SH ambassador through the daily schedule, attending classes, eating lunch, participating in leadership or service activities, and taking part in any other activities scheduled for that day. Shadowers have the opportunity to meet many students and ask them questions about life at SH Prospective students watch our faculty in action, observe their teaching methods, and gain a sense of our challenging curriculum. We encourage all prospective freshmen and transfer students to take ad- vantage of this invaluable opportunity. How do I schedule a shadow day? St. Hubert welcomes prospective students to schedule a shadow day any day of the week school is in session. Please call a minimum of two full days in advance to schedule your visit. SHADOW PROGRAM

What occurs on a shadow day? During a shadow day, you will experience a typical school day at St. Hubert. You will “shadow” your host throughout her day of classes and get a feel for the academic and social aspects of St. Hubert. By spending the day here, you will truly see why St. Hubert is a great place to be!

Who will I shadow during my visit to St. Hubert?

Our goal is to help you have the best day possible. Your host for the day will be a student who has similar interests and academic standards as you. If you already know a current St. Hubert student we will make every effort to accommodate your request. Where and when should I Arrive?

Please come to the main office by using the Torresdale Avenue entrance between 7:30 –7:40a.m. Here you will be met by the Director of Admissions and introduced to your St. Hubert host. The School day begins at 7:52a.m. and the day ends at 2:30p.m. Please arrange for pick up at the main office at the conclusion of the school day. What do I wear on my shadow day?

If you wear a uniform to your current school, then you are asked to wear the same on your shadow day. If you do not wear a uniform, please wear dress pants, a collared golf shirt or blouse, or comfortable dress shoes.

Who will notify my school?

Please make sure your parents inform your school that you are spending a full day at St. Hubert! On the day of your visit you will be given a letter to confirm you were in full attendance.

What should I bring with me?

You do not need to bring anything with you for the day. We will provide you with a folder And writing utensil, as well as a lunch voucher!
