Nearly all German products involve a high degree of innovation. Continuous research
and development ensure that German products are among the best worldwide
To make such achievements possible many preconditions are required. A large number
of these are created by policy-makers. It is the BDI‘s task to ensure that industry speaks
with one voice vis-à-vis political institutions at national, European and international level

The organisation represents 20 million companies from 33 countries in Brussels and

BDI informs direct members and member associations about relevant news and
