BCL Floors was founded in January 2014 and our Industrial Flooring division was developed to

specialise in low tolerance high spec industrial concrete flooring. Our teams are equipped with the

specialist knowledge and plant necessary to achieve the highest standards across expansive areas.

With over 20 years experience and with the directors actively involved in the day to day running of

the business, we see ourselves at the forefront of our specialist trade, understanding the needs of all

our clients in an ever changing environment.

We have a proven track record in achieving the highest quality standards within tight time

constraints. Our professional and proactive approach to each project ensures we maintain a positive

Based in the North West of England, we offer the complete civil package including, formwork,

reinforcement and concrete placement and all other forms of construction services nationwide.

More recently we have completed works for:

o Bowmer & Kirkland – Amazon Shipping Hub, Mansfield working with Stanford Industrial

Concrete Flooring Ltd, our scope of works was to supply all necessary labour & plant to

install the reinforced concrete ground floor slab to the new shipping hub. Consisting of the

installation of A193 Mesh reinforcement and Alphajoint System, the 200mm thick concrete

slab was completed in 34nr individual pours; each pour measuring 1800m2/360m3 was laid

using a laser screed and then finished to a highly polished power floated finish to FM2

specification. Programme duration 7 weeks

o 12,240m3 of concrete to a powerfloat finish

o 61,200m2 mesh reinforcement

o 4,250m Alphajoint System

o McLaren Construction – Lubbesthorpe, Leicester working with Konfloor Ltd, our scope of

works was to supply all necessary labour & plant to install the reinforced concrete ground

floor slab. Consisting of the installation of A193 Mesh reinforcement and Alphajoint System,

the 200mm thick concrete slab was completed in 28nr individual pours; with bay sizes

ranging between 1600m2 and 1800m2 was laid using a laser screed then finished to a highly

polished power floated finish to FM2 specification. Programme duration 6 weeks

o 8,000m3 of concrete to a powerfloat finish

o 40,000m2 mesh reinforcement

o 3,250m Alphajoint System

o J.Murphy & Sons Ltd – Bridge Decks one of many bridge deck slabs installed on Sydney Road

in Crewe. Our scope of works was to supply all necessary labour & plant to install the

concrete bridge deck slab. Our ongoing works with J.Murphy & Sons over the past 5 years

has seen us complete over 15no. similar installations across the northwest.

o Liverpool Stanley Docks working with MR Concrete Ltd. Our scope of works was to supply all

necessary labour plant to install concrete slabs to the metal decking system on the Stanley

Dock site for new student accommodation.

o Pours 1, 2 & 3

800m2 hand laid concrete slabs with an easyfloat finish per pour.

o Pour 4

2650m2 hand laid concrete slabs with an easyfloat finish in one single pour

375m3 in one single pour

o Rohan Holdings Ltd – Dublin International Airport Logistics Park, Ireland working with

Ballygorman Contracts Ltd. Our scope of works was to supply all necessary labour, plant and

materials to install the reinforced concrete ground floor slab across multiple units.

Consisting of the installation of A193 Mesh reinforcement and Alphajoint System, the

175mm thick concrete slabs across multiple units was completed in 40nr individual pours;

with bay sizes ranging between 650m2 and 2,000m2 was laid utilising our own laser screed,

then finished to a highly polished power floated finish to FM2 specification. Programme

duration 10 weeks

o 3,848m3 of concrete to a powerfloat finish

o 28,202 mesh reinforcement

o 891m Alphajoint

This unit pictured below was of a complex design that was custom built for a client in the

aviation services industry. With varying levels throughout with a significant number of ducts

protruding through that slab to service specialist machinery, meant that most areas of the

slab had to be placed using a Cifa 42m concrete pump but were still able to use our laser

screed to achieve the required FM2 specification.
