    This is a just a sample of workshopsessions that will be offered:

    Adaptive Technology: Discover how adaptivetechnologies can improve learning for all students.

    Free Stuff: Explore open source and other freesoftware that will help you become more productiveand add spice to any lesson. Students can alsodownload these tools on their home computers.

    Information Literacy: Some students have convertedCreative Writing assignments to Copy/Paste exercises.Learn techniques for helping students understand and

    obey copyright rules and regulations.

    Mind-mapping: engages children through the use ofgraphics, text, recording and listening tools. Learnhow this teacher friendly program can enhancestudent learning across the curriculum.

    Robotics: Your students will be able to control robotsto perform various tasks. Find out the basics and thenyou can facilitate your own students.

    SmartBoards: Interactive White boards are here!

    Display computer content, capture your notes, havestudents interact with the technology. Fun thatworks!

    Social Networking: Find out about the Good, the Badand the Ugly. My Space, Blogs and other Web 2.0tools will be discussed. Methods of harnessing theirpower and using it for learning are explored.
