LESSON:SEWING A BUTTONTIP

A wristwatch is one of the few pieces of jewellery that men can allow themselves to wear, and so it should reflect your personality and not suggest any form of vanity.Massive, complex, smooth, clear, it should never stand out by possessing any extreme forms or functionalities. Maintain a certain humility.

THE WRIST?TIP

Read the instructions on the label sewn inside your shirt in order to set the iron correctly. When in doubt, if you are wearing cotton, set at three points with steam.

HOW TO PROPERLY IRON A SHIRT?

1 Lay the collar flat, iron the underside first, then the outside.

2 Fold back the collar, make the crease sharp at the back of the neck, without approaching the ends, where the crease will be more natural.

3 Do the two sides of the cuffs, without damaging your buttons. Open the throat of your sleeve, slip in your iron in order to iron the pleats that begin from the wrists.

4 It is crucial that you find the seam of the sleeve (easy). Smooth the width of the sleeve and pass the iron without creating a crease.

5 Final step. Iron the two front sides, without burning the buttons. Turn the shirt around on the board in order to finish with the sides and the back.

6 Slip the armhole into the narrowed end of the ironing board. Pass the iron over the neck and the shoulders. Then iron the yokes of the back up to the opposite shoulder.

Poplin is the most commonly used weaving fabric type for shirts. It is renowned for its silky surface, its pure appearance and the comfort it brings. Here are the 3 poplin types carefully chosen to meet the corporate high demand for quality.

B&C poplin cotton elastane is made of 97% combed cotton and 3% elastane creating stretch. This specific combination allows B&C to create a line of shirts with more fitted cuts without compromising comfort.

The principle is simple. When another fibre is woven in with the cotton, you benefit from both fibres: here, the polyester will bring both durability and resistance. Made of 65% polyester and 35% cotton, this blend makes the B&C shirts wrinkle resistant, durable and with high colour fastness.IT IS 50 WASHABLE AND EASY CARE TREATED.

The twill is one of the basic weaves easy to identify thanks to its diagonal lines. B&C twill fabric, made of 100% combed cotton is very resistant even if pure cotton, this is thanks to the fabrics construction.
