Effective Software Configuration Management Duration: 2days

Software Configuration Management (SCM) is a process for facilitating and controlling changes to software products within an organization and is critical to producing and ensuring the integrity of those products. The implementation of proper SCM processes helps to maintain an organization's competitive edge.

The objective of this course is to provide knowledge and skills on advance practices in software configuration management. It will cover new research areas of SCM like multi disciplined configuration management, multi sites CM and CM for multiple products (product families).

Object Oriented Analysis and Design Using UML Duration: 3days

This training course provides a programming language independent overview of object oriented analysis and design using the UML. Special attention is given to relating OOA and OOD concepts to real world software. No prior knowledge of object oriented development is required.

Design Patterns in Depth Duration: 2day

Design patterns are powerful, predefined solutions to common software design problems. Patterns provide a more powerful form of reuse than code reuse because they are transportable across different languages and software architectures. This training session introduces design patterns, shows how specific design patterns can improve your designs, and shows how to use design patterns to improve your whole design process.

Writing Effective Code Duration: 1day

In this one training session, participants will learn proven tips and techniques that shorten development time, reduce errors, make debugging easier, and produce code that is easier to understand and revise. They will gain an indepth understanding of the key principles underlying these tips and techniques. Participants will also see how these principles and practices apply through coding examples in Java, C++, and Visual Basic.
