BAYLOR U N I V E R S I T Y IRT Series Vol. 07-08, No. 75 January 31, 2008 Enrollment by Program and Major, Spring 2008 This report presents a summary of Spring 2008 enrollment by students' programs and major fields of study. The report is separated into four sections: breakdown of dual programs, primary programs, secondary programs, and all majors. Programs and majors are sorted by the academic unit. In all reports, the class is based on the student’s classification within his or her primary program. The first section shows the number of students who are working toward completion of two degree programs concurrently. These programs can be within the graduate school or across different levels of the institution (seminary/graduate, law/graduate, etc). The final section, Enrollment by All Majors, is a total of the primary and secondary majors and secondary programs. This total will not equal total enrollment because students may have both a first and second major in their primary program as well as a first and second major in their secondary program for joint- degree programs. In this case, each major would count in each program. Note that Social Work became a separate school in 2005-06. Information for the Academy of Health Sciences, Brooks AFB, and West Point is excluded from this report.
