• Winner will be awarded at the Baynanza 2020 Kickoff Party and pictures will be showcased at event.

• Winner will receive a Vizcaya family membership for one year.

• Winner will have the opportunity of covering the Baynanza 2019 VIP site on Saturday, April 18th 2020. Pictures from the VIP site will be published and credited in Miami-Dade County printed and online publications and other select press and media.

• Photographs will be featured in the Baynanza 2020 promotional calendars and other printed and online materials.

PRIZE

Amateur Photography Contest Miami-Dade County and Vizcaya Museum and Gardens invites all Miami-Dade County residents that are photography enthusiasts* to participate in the contest for the Baynanza 2020 calendar. Each participant may enter 3 original photographs of Biscayne Bay by Friday, December 20th, 2019. Winner will be announced on Wednesday, March 11th, 2020 at Vizcaya during Baynanza’s Kickoff and Reception.

• Each participant* may submit three pictures by email by Friday, December 20, 2019. Only one submission per participant will be accepted. Email to: BaynanzaPhoto@vizcaya.org

• The subject of the pictures must be Biscayne Bay.

• The pictures must focus on Biscayne Bay’s unique natural environment.

• Pictures must be original images in JPEG format, 300 DPI each.

• Email must include name, email, phone number and street home address of the photographer.

• Photographer must reside in Miami-Dade County.*

• All pictures must be sent as attachments to one email only (multiple emails from same participant will not be accepted).

• Creative shot angles of Biscayne Bay are encouraged.

* Contest is for amateur photographers, not for professional photographers. We ask that professional photographers refrain from submitting any entries to this contest. Pictures of participants that charge commercially for their photography services will be disqualified.

REQUIREMENTS and SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Vizcaya Museum and Gardens will receive, store and manage the entries submitted for the photo contest. By submitting an entry to the contest, participants understand that entries might be used by Vizcaya and MDC-RER for promotional and marketing purposes, even if the designs have not been selected as winners in the photography contest.
