when perm teeth erupt, lower teeth may shift forward to est class I

early shift

Type II – not spaced

flush terminal plane – perm molars erupt into end to end = weak class II molar relationship;

may be late shift of molar as 1 molars exfoliate – may not want this shift to occur

late shift
