Urbandale/Level Park Area Homecoming and Parade Saturday June 23,2012 Parade will start at 11am. There will be food like Grilled SteakSandwich Combo’s $6.00 & Hot Dog Combo’s $4.00. There will also bepopcorn, cotton candy & caramel apples to eat. We will have a inflatableobstacle course that includes an 18’ tall slide & with both attached togeth-er it is approximately 68’ long for older kids, teens & adults to have fun on.We will also have a inflatable castle bouncer & a Dig & Find game for theyounger kid’s. An exciting full day of music and dance willfill the air this Saturday at the Urbandale/Level Park Homecoming startingat 10 am. Beginning with local singer/songwriters Jaime Moore & JerryBall, (Moore will also sing the National Anthem), the entertainment lineupwill include some of the areas premier entertainers. The band Earth Shine,brings their Blues/Bluegrass & Gospel sound to the main stage at 11:45 justas the parade is winding down from its trek along W. Michigan Avenue.Then at 1:00 pm, the stage will literally come to life to the sounds of the
magnificent Thunderfloor Cloggers from Lake Odessa. Local favorite ShariRarick’s School of Dance will immediately follow the cloggers on stage tothe delight of an expected larger than normal crowd at this year’s festival.Rocky Newsome a Guitar Teacher at KCC & Friend’s that Rocky has taught,will delight the crowd with Country and Oldies at 2:30. And at 4 pm,Contemporary Christian band New Creation will take the stage for a fan-tastic musical finale that will energize those in attendance as this year’sfestival comes to a rousing conclusion. In-between the main groups, sev-eral individual acts are scheduled to perform including members of theWolverine Harmonica club and others. With the variety of this year’s enter-tainment, you won’t want to miss this amazing day of fun, music anddance.
