The Bombers are members of the prestigious Northwoods League, a NCAA sanctioned summer baseball league which is comprised of the top collegiate players from across the nation. It is the premier place to play for potential major league ball players. The Northwoods League is the largest league in the country (16 teams), plays the longest schedule (70 games), and has the largest attendance (932,245). Each franchise is managed exactly as a professional minor league team where the team plays in front of thousands of fans nightly, operates in minor league stadiums, uses wooden bats/professional baseballs, & experiences minor league road trips. Former stars include Curtis Granderson, Danny Worth, Max Scherzer, Andre Either, Juan Pierre, and many other stars making their MLB debuts every summer.
