This project was designed to provide 386 new homes at affordable rents and for shared ownership. Inspired by London’s classic redbrick mansion blocks, the scheme consists of seven blocks of up to 18 stories, arranged around a garden square that sits at the heart of the site. The project has 12,000 sq ft of business flexible incubator space for local entrepreneurs, 17,000 sq ft new medical centre, 60,900 sq ft of new public realm including a 10,000 sq ft central garden square with children's play area, outdoor fitness spaces and hard surface areas for pop up events. Structural Engineer Malachy Walsh and Partners* Scope of Work ▪ Structural 3D Model ▪ Concrete Drawings ▪ Reinforcement Details Drawings along with the Bar Bending Schedule. ▪ Drainage 3D Model & Clash Coordination Pinnacle's Value Addition Use of Advanced Software & Technology enables us to deliver high quality and accurate output which in turn facilitates Fabrication, Installation & Construction with ease. Moreover, use of Rebar CAD for Reinforcement detailing ensures high volume accurate delivery in a short time frame along with Automated Bar bending Schedule. In this project, we found a number of discrepancies in terms of Coordination, Constructability and Feasibility. We informed client regarding the discrepancies along with proposed solutions. We maintained a particular log related to these design issues & feasible solutions which we shared with the client at frequent intervals. We executed reinforcement Tonnage Estimation for the overall project before Execution. Battersea Phase 4A is a Mixed-use project. Few of the projects specialties: ▪ Mixed Use Building ▪ Slip Form Concreting done for the Vertical elements ▪ For Reinforcement continuity, Kwika Strip is used across construction joints in concrete ▪ To get the actual ﬁgure and requirement at Site while managing time zone differences was quite tough and challenging for us as well as for the client. Solutions: Our dedicated Regional Relationship Manager assists us to bridge up the gap Solution: Our BIM experts with vast project experience make easy identification with multiple solutions. Also having a huge team enables additional team formation for the specific project at critical times. ▪ Design documents as received for this Project are in the form of Hand Sketches & Markups Solution: Experts holding specific regional project experiences assist in easy understanding & identification of design & details based on execution of similar project & knowledge of Code & Standard of Practice. ▪ Sudden change in design with the pre-deﬁned construction schedule Solution: Having a huge Rebar Team enable us to from additional team or to add additional detailers at any urgent situation to meet Site requirement.
