intervention in our school expectations.

Mr D….we hate the mo….shave it off….it has to go! If you miss Mr Denmead’s baby-face good looks as much as the staff does, come along to this week’s assembly and see him shave it off. If you can spare a gold coin there will be collection buckets at the doors. All funds raised by Mr Den-mead and Mr Snow over the past month go di-rectly to supporting men’s health issues.

Breakfast Club Breakfast is a great way to ensure your children are ready for a busy day of learning at school. Studies show that children who eat a healthy breakfast are not only more alert, but they also retain what they have learnt for longer than those children who skip this meal. We have an enthusiastic team of parent volun-teers who would like to start a breakfast club at school. A note regarding this was sent home with last week’s newsletter, however the response was less than overwhelming with only 4 responses be-ing returned. Does this mean there is no interest in this idea, or that at this busy time of year the note is sitting on the “to do” pile? This note is being sent again with this newsletter in the hope that many more families respond. Please take 30 seconds to fill it out and pop it in your child’s bag. They can be brought to the iCen-tre and given to me and I will pass them on to the P&C. Many thanks, Kerry Little

Breakfast at School! Eating breakfast helps children do their best at school.

Children who eat breakfast have higher levels of concentration and energy to get through the day. They get along better in the classroom and are generally happier in school. We are considering starting a school breakfast club and would like to hear from you. Please return the form below as soon as you can to assist us in this decision and to help us plan the program should we decide to go ahead.

Thankyou
