Last year, the challenge was all about... Down a full-time minister, lots of gaps needing to be filled so we could keep moving forward. Praise God so many at Church did so and therefore a lot of great ministry has happened this past 12 months. But with a new minister set to join us, each service will be able to concentrate just that little bit more on exploring the opportunities God has for them with their particular gifts and circumstances, whilst still enjoying the synergy of being part of our Church as a whole. Praise God for His provision! But the danger with any new minister is to step back, failing to see that they are there to help us actually keep stepping up in Christ (Ephesians 4:16 still stands!). We all are called to follow our extraordinary God. Each of us can be used in unique ways to make valuable contributions to God’s plans for this world as we follow what He says and does. So take a peep ahead in the calendar. Check it out each month and see whether there’s something coming up that will be important as you get on with following, along with the rest of us, our extraordinary God...
