Remember this is your Club, we need volunteers and your participation in Club events! News & Notes As reported earlier the Club contracted with a logging company to clear out the Ash Trees on the property before they were all killed by the Emerald Ash Borer. They’re almost done and the Sporting Clays course is finished. All that remains are some tops that need to be cleaned up. The course will be ready to open on schedule in March. The Club has purchased several more automatic trap machines for the Sporting Clays course. This means that we will be able to run the Hunters Tour nearly fully automatic. After the carpet downstairs was ruined this winter by a waste pipe backup, a new carpet was installed. The exhaust fan in the kitchen was serviced over the winter and is now in good working order. Don’t forget Spring Cleanup is coming up in May! Volunteers are needed. A signup sheet will be posted in the Clubhouse.

They’re almost done and the Sporting Clays course is finished. All that remains are some tops that need to be cleaned up. The course will be ready to open on schedule in March. SHERIFF’S PISTOL SAFTEY COURSE

For those interested in obtaining their Concealed Carry Permit, the Sheriff’s Department offers the required course every third Saturday at their headquarters. You must pre-register for the course by contacting Terri at (607) 622-3930 (Space is limited classes are already filling up for June and July)

Board meetings are the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:30 pm.

Members are encouraged to attend.

Bench Rest Matches 5/ 21, 6/18, 7/16, 8// 20, 9/ 17

These matches are intended to

be fun and give you a chance to

really get to know your favorite

Varmint, deer or target rifle. There are no prizes given other

than bragging rights and the

fun of competing with other rifle shooters. There will be 5

events at each shoot with time

to shoot one or all of them.

The events are: 1. Factory Varmint rifle with

original barrel .243 or

smaller, w/any sight. 20 shots for score, unlimited

sighting shots at 100 yds.

original barrel .257 or

larger, w/ scopes of 16X or

less (rifle w/sight 10 lbs. or less) 10 shots for score,

unlimited sighting shots at

score, unlimited sighting shots at 100 yds. in 30

minutes.

5. Any riffle shooting .22LR any sight. 20 shots, 30 min.
