EVERY PUPIL IS IMPORTANT EVERY STAFF MEMBER IS AN ASSET EVERY PARENT IS A PARTNER STATE SOFTBALL Yesterday our Grade 5/6 boys travelled to Jells Park in Waverley to the State Softball Tournament. Our boys team played three matches with each game proving to be a close encounter. The students displayed excellent teamwork, sportsmanship and skill on the day. The boys recorded one win and two narrow defeats )one to the eventual winner). There were some excellent individual per- formances on the day—highlights being Jayse Fryers outfield catching, George Blum’s first base play and Lleyton Cartmel’s batting. Well done to all team members on a fantastic effort in making the State Finals and performing admirably. Thanks to all parents and supporters for attending. From the Principal Grades for 2017: At this stage we will have nine grades again next year. Please be aware that this may change in response to changes in enrolments (an extra grade, not less). The structure for next year will be: P, P/1, 1, 2, 3/4, 3/4, 3/4, 5/6, 5/6 Teachers have not yet been assigned to grades. We will continue to teach students to their point of need and differentiate the curriculum to meet the individual’s needs within every classroom. Parents have the opportunity to discuss any special needs/requests with Mrs Edwards/Mrs Rutherford before the grades are made up. Requests will need to be made by Tuesday 29th November please. We always endeavour to meet parent’s requests, but we also have to take in to account student friendship groups and teacher recommendations. Headlice: Please check your child’s hair daily.
