Since being founded in 1980 as a small, privately owned company in Bonn, Germany, TGE has considerably expanded its range of expertise alongside the changing project demands and challenges to become a major partner in the natural gas and petrochemical markets. Today we are integrated in the CIMC Group and act worldwide as a contractor for international projects.

Apart from being awarded the ISO 9001:2015, TGE was certified in 2004 in accordance with OHSAS 18001:2007 and ISO 14001:2015. This clearly demonstrates that TGE has identified quality, health, safety and environment as key issues to its business.

On November 21, 2007 TGE became one of the first German companies to be awarded the accredited certificate of the ISO / TS 29001:2003 standards. This special technical standard is applicable to sector-specific demands and requirements regarding product

design, development, production, installation and service within the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries.

TGE has over 38 years of experience in the design, procurement and construction of cryogenic storage facilities and terminals for liquefied gases. Since our entry in the LNG Terminal business in 2001 our services and solutions for export and import terminals for Liquefied Natural Gas are geared to accommodate the increasing worldwide demands for clean energy. TGE has designed and installed 3 Million m³ of LNG storage, over 13 MMTPA of LNG Regasification capacity and over 3 MMTPA Small-Mid Scale LNG production capacity.

TGE acts as a flexible, competent and strong global partner. We provide: n LNG import and export terminals installed: 30,000 – 160,000 m³ n Storage Tanks designed from 5,000 – 260,000 m³

TERMINALS AND STORAGES FOR LNG SOLUTIONS, APPLICATIONS & SERVICESBy leveraging the experience gained and expertise developed in our core product lines, we are also able to our offer our customers a variety of solutions, applications and services within the value chain of storage and handling facilities for liquified gases.

We offer innovative and tailormade applications with a high level of flexibility for smaller sized plants for liquefied gases – all based on our customer needs and requests – from engineering to construction and installation of complete facilities.

Furthermore, our customers also benefit from our After Sales services, including cryogenic storage tank inspections and retrofit solutions that provide extended facility life time, updated to comply with current codes, standards and regulations.

ssLNG – Small-Scale LNG SolutionsWe have developed LNG plant solutions with a high level of standardization allowing fast-track and cost-effective delivery suitable even for remote locations. Depending on the individual project the modular design approach allows optimized execution by maximizing either prefabrication or in-situ construction. All facilities can be offered for stand-alone operation. This product line is classified into the following applications:

n ssLNG to Power PlantsFor remote locations without access to natural gas pipeline, ssLNGto Power is the fuel-supply solution for an adjacent gas power plant. On demand, these terminals can also be equipped with LNG distribution facilities.

n ssLNG Bunkering & Distribution PlantsIncreasingly offshore carriers and cruise ships are fueled with LNG. This plant type is the solution for LNG ship fueling. On demand, these terminals can be equipped with further LNG distribution facilities, e.g. truck or ISO-container loading.

n LNG ProductionWe have developed solutions for the small-scale LNG production incl. pre-treatment, liquefaction, storage and distribution and can provide cost effective state of the art facilities that are tailored to our customers' requirements.

After Sales ServicesWe offer such services in the day to day operation in any terminal. They include all activities which lead to the safest and most eco- nomic operation of our customers' asset and investment.

Cryo-Storage Inspection ServicesWe provide in-or out-of-service storage tank and process facilities inspections. We have our own experienced inspection team qualified to API 653 and EEMUA 159.
