SCIENCE CLUBEvery Thursday 3.30pm to 4.20pm

Some of the Year 7 students were lucky to be invited on a visit to the Royal Shakespeare Company to see the play ‘Julius Caesar’ – a political tragedy of blood, guts and gore!

The students went on a walking tour of Stratford, reciting Shakespeare quotes as well as watching the performance. It was a stunning production of the play and for many, the first time going to the theatre.

Ian Foster, tuba player with the RSC musicians accompanying the performance commented on, ‘the fantastic group of students that came to the performance.’

Thanks to Mr Zeal, Mr Peffers and Mrs Manton for arranging the trip.

YEAR 7 VISIT THE ROYAL SHAKESPEARE COMPANY

BUDDING LAWYERS ATTEND MAGISTRATES MOCK TRIALEight students from the Debating Club competed in the Magistrates Mock Trial.

As budding lawyers, they prosecuted, defended and played witness in the Coventry City Courts.

It was a great visit to understand more about the Justice System and also gave the students an insight into a legal career.

Thanks to Mrs Manton for arranging the trip.
