Barcelona Grille Options

Operating Wrought Iron Grille HingesOptional operating grille hinges are supplied with each wrought iron grille. Grille hinges can be installed in minutes and allow the door or sidelite wrought iron grilles to be hinge opened to clean the outside glass surface.

Factory Finish OptionsChoose from six finish colors in our Traditional and Distressed finish options. See pages 10 & 11 in the Mahogany & Knotty Alder Entry Doors 2010 Catalog for photos of the mahogany and knotty alder factory finish options. These doors may be ordered individually, or assembled in matching mahogany or knotty alder jambs for either interior or exterior applications.

Wrought Iron Grille Color OptionsEach wrought iron grille design has been designed by artisans and is individually crafted by hand and will vary. This variance is a feature of wrought iron and adds to the beauty and appearance of the wrought iron grille. The wrought iron grilles are powder coated for durability and are available in three hand painted color options including Antique Black, Antique Bronze and Antique Pewter.

Decorative Straps, Clavos and V-Grooved Options See pages 12-14 in the Mahogany & Knotty Alder Entry Doors 2010 Catalog for full details on our handmade decorative wrought iron clavos, hinge strap and door straps. Door panels may also be V-Grooved.

Decorative Glass OptionsChoose from seven different glass texture options to com-plement your wrought iron and hardwood entry door. All glass textures shown below are produced using a double IG (insulated glass) unit to provide safety, security, and energy efficiency.

The capacity to see through the glass panel varies depending upon the glass texture chosen. Baroque and Water glass options offer a light obscured view. Flemish and Fluted glass options offer a moderate level of obscured view. Rain and Glue Chip give the highest level of obscured view.

New Barcelona Grille DesignGlassCraft Door Company has expanded its collection of wrought iron grille designs with the introduction of the Barcelona wrought iron grille. Doors feature laminated, engineered stiles and rails to virtually eliminate warping. Door panels are constructed using a 3-piece assembly that incorporates a cross-grained spline in the core to eliminate panel splitting. Doors are assembled using an authentic doweled cove-and-bead technique.
