12th International Meeting On Therapy In Liver DiseasesIntroduction
We are pleased to welcome you to Barcelona for the 12th International Meeting on Therapy in Liver Diseases, 20-22 September 2017. World renowned experts in hepatology will discuss the latest developments being made in thera-py, diagnosis and prognosis in both acute and chronic liver diseases.
We have modified the format of the programme to include two new sections, Advances in Portal Hypertension and Advances in Liver Transplantation as well as the symposia covering the areas of Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Hot Topics, NASH, Complications of Cirrhosis and ACLF, and Liver Cancer.
At the meeting we will honour the memory and legacy of Dr Juan Rodés who passed away earlier this year. He presided over the first ‘Liver Therapy’ meeting 22 years ago and up until 2015 played a significant role in the field of Hepato-logy. We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful Mediterranean city of Barcelona.
