September 26-27: Healing Touch Level I Program is a nursing-based continuing education program for registered nurses, physicians, body therapists, counselors, psycho-therapists, other health professionals, and individuals desiring an in-depth understanding and practice of healing work using energy based concepts. The program is a course of study toward a certificate of completion in Healing Touch, which incorporates a variety of basic to advanced healing modalities. Level 1 begins with 16 continuing education contact hours of instruction, allowing persons with varying backgrounds to enter, acknowledge their previous learning, and further develop concepts and skills in energy based therapy. Program runs 8 am to 6 pm at UNM Center for Life. You must attend both days to receive the certificate of Level 1 completion. Tuition is $365 (includes materials). Early bird rate is available; eligible for Tuition Remission under Professional Development.
