Trinity’s Mission Statement : Living With God at the Center

Individually and together, we honor God at the center of our lives by: Meeting Jesus in authentic community-Community.

Seeking to know God better-Communion. Learning God’s truths-Roots.

Serving God’s purposes through our life mission-Mission. Welcoming the deep changes that the Spirit desires within us-Renewal.

We invite others to worship with us and to join us on this journey.

NEW TO TRINITY? Helping people to worship God is important to us. We believe that worship is not a passive receiving, but an active encounter with Jesus who stoops to meet us as we worship. The Mostly Liturgical Worship Service at 9:00 am uses liturgy, hymns, worship songs, and silence to guide us in the worship of God. The 10:35 am Church From Scratch Worship Service blends all different types of music, arts, liturgy and free-form worship to help guide newcomers and experienced alike in the worship of God. During the Summer and on Family Worship Sunday, selected Sundays throughout the year, we come together as one worshiping family at 9:30 am.

A Nursery, (downstairs) is available for children two and under at both worship hours. A “Family Room” on the right side of the Sanctuary is available, as well.

Sunday Morning Children’s Christian Education

Summer Sunday Schedule ends today: Children remain in the Sanctuary with their families for a child-centered time of worship.

Beginning next Sunday, September 8: 9:00 & 10:35: Children join their families in the Sanctuary for opening worship and “Learning with Our Children”, then proceed downstairs for class. The sign-in sheet at both hours is located in the main hallway outside the Sanctuary doors; sign-out downstairs in Fellowship Hall. Parents must sign their children in and out of all classes every Sunday and pick them up promptly after worship. This is particularly important after the 9 am service so our teachers can put away materials and set up for the 10:35 class. Thank you for supporting our teachers; you are always welcome to visit our classrooms.

Adult Christian Education Please check the calendar or contact Robin Olschner ([email protected]) for information about upcoming fellowship and learning opportunities.

SUNDAY EVENING YOUTH GROUP First Sunday of the Month — a time when ALL our youth (grades 6 - 12) come together for dinner and other good times. Exception: NO MEETING TODAY, September 1 (Labor Day weekend). Our September 8 combined meeting (6 to 8 pm) will be a Family Potluck Dinner to welcome new families and join in fellowship within youth ministry, then Sundaes from Heaven to end our evening. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting messy in, and bring a towel(s) to cover your car seats for the drive home.

Middle School Youth Group — Sunday afternoons from 4 to 6 pm. We start by gathering upstairs in the middle school room, share about our week, then dive into a series from The Bible Project (www.thebibleproject.com) and end our time in the Fellowship Hall with some games. Be sure to invite your friends to join us!

Senior High Youth Group — Sunday evenings from 6 to 8 pm. We are exploring different ways to listen for God. With such a diverse group of people in the Church, there are diverse ways to hear from God.

SUNDAY MORNINGS in SEPTEMBER and the rest of the SCHOOL YEAR On Communion Sundays, we will not have Youth Sunday School, but join together in the full Body of Christ in worship. (9 am or 10:35 am).

The remaining weeks, Youth Sunday School is held during the 9:00 worship hour. For September, we’ll be exploring a variety of topics of theology with the video series of the “The Bible Project”. “The Bible Project is a non-profit animation studio that produces short-form, fully animated videos to make the biblical story accessible to everyone, everywhere.”

Theme: Filling Life With Purpose Enjoying life to the fullest, while we are able, is important to all of us. We have identified three themes: "Exploring the Community", "Giving Back to the Church and the Community," and "Enriching our Lives and Fellowship". We welcome additional input from others in the church. Please join us in Room 301 on Sunday, September 8 after the 9 am worship service.
