Upcoming Meetings

1. There will be a general liturgical practice for all liturgical

ministers (Lectors, Ushers, Altar servers, Eucharistic Ministers) on

Saturday December 23rd in the church at 11 am. It is required that all

members do plan to attend.

2. Our Young Adult group will be going out for a social gathering

(bowling) on December 15th@ 6:30pm. Members are encouraged to

respond to messages to coordinate this event.

3. A meeting is scheduled on Tuesday, December 12th for leaders of

some church groups: Lectors, Ushers, Eucharistic Ministers,

Religious Education Director, Altar Society, Bereavement Committee

and Endowment Board. Meeting will start at 6:30pm in the parish

conference room. If any of these groups do not have a leader

someone in that group could represent that group.

Search Retreats, a ministry of

the Archdiocesan Office of

Youth & Young Adult

Ministry, are weekend

experiences "for teens, by

teens" and are led by the

Search Team (adults and

teens who have previously

attended a Search Retreat and

have been formed in

discipleship and leadership).

On a Search Retreat, teens

will experience a faith

community, encounter Christ

and his Church, and grow in

their relationship with God

Junior Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary in Mobile is preparing to start a Junior Legion of

Mary for children in the archdiocese from 7-17 years old. The first

meeting ever is scheduled for Sunday, January 7, 2018 at St. Dominic

Parish in the Murphy Center! Fr. Stephen Vrazel is the Legion's Curia

spiritual director and Fr. Chris Boutin will be the spiritual director for

the Junior Legion.
