ATMOSPHERE IS EVERYTHING
Since opening its doors in 1865, Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa has provided travelers with gracious hospitality in an inspiring setting high among the spectacular peaks of the White Mountains. Mountain View Grand is easily accessible from major interstate highways and is the perfect location for meetings, conferences and executive retreats. The resort features over 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and numerous settings for breakout meetings and dining.
From golf and hiking to spa treatments and wine tastings, we offer a fantastic selection of team building and group activities, along with things to do on your own. While some of our activities change with the seasons, such as snowshoeing in Winter and hiking in the Spring, no matter what the season, you and your guests will have a full and rewarding experience.
FARM-TO-TABLE CUISINE
Founded in 1865 by William and Mary Jane Dodge, Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa began as a humble family farm. Meals were prepared with fresh eggs and produce grown directly on property. Today, Mountain View Grand is proud to carry on the legacy of the Dodge family through the revitalization of Mountain View Farm, the construction of vegetable and herb gardens, and our relationship with local growers. Currently, we partner with over 16 farmers from northern New Hampshire and Vermont. Throughout this menu, you will observe how our community of wonderful local purveyors has influenced our cuisine and helped us create truly one of a kind offerings. Highlights include fresh maple syrup from Fuller’s Sugar House just down the road in Lancaster, NH, and delicious cheeses from Grafton Village Cheese Company. RESORT POLICIES & PROCEDURES
GUARANTEES
Final menu selections must be given 14 business days prior to your scheduled event and the final guarantees are required 7 business days prior to the event. If no guarantee is received at the required time, the estimated guest count will be your guarantee and will be used for billing. We are prepared to serve 5% over the final guaranteed number. All charges will be based upon the final guarantee or the actual number of guests served, whichever is greater. The final guarantee is not subject to reduction.
PRICING
All pricing throughout this Banquet Menu is per person unless otherwise noted. All food and beverage prices are subject to a 20% house fee and the current 9% New Hampshire State Room and Meals Tax. Menu and pricing subject to change based on season and availability.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa must provide all food and beverage. Excess food and/or beverage cannot be removed from the function space.
Food service involves delicate preparation. Therefore, Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa guarantees food quality for 30 minutes beyond the pre-arranged meal time. We cannot guarantee food quality if the event is delayed more than 30 minutes due to guests’ actions. Food service can be provided between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.. The designated meal periods are:
Breakfast 7 a.m. – 10 a.m.Lunch 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.Dinner 5 p.m. – 10 p.m.
Any plated or buffet lunch can be served during the dinner meal period for an additional charge of $8 per person. All food and beverage prices are subject to a 20% taxable house fee and 9% state tax. Menus and pricing are subject to change.
ALCOHOL SERVICE
Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa is committed to providing responsible, courteous and safe service of alcoholic beverages. We are dedicated to upholding New Hampshire state law and the regulations of the New Hampshire Liquor Commission. Our staff is trained to recognize intoxicated behavior, to assess individual limits and to limit or refuse service when necessary.
Therefore, the following policies are practiced at functions:
• No guest who is under the legal drinking age of 21 years, or who appears to be and cannot furnish proper ID, will be served or be allowed to consume alcohol.Continued on following page…

RESORT POLICIES & PROCEDURES
ALCOHOL SERVICE (continued)
• We will discourage intoxication and will not serve any guest showing signs of intoxication.
• We reserve the right to limit or suspend service during any function where, in our opinion, guest actions violate New Hampshire State law and/or create a hardship to other resort guests.
• No alcoholic beverages may be brought into any of our licensed venues and none may be removed from the venues or consumed outside supervised areas.
• We will not sell more than one drink to a guest at a time.
• Alcohol service will end 15-30 minutes before the end of the function. We will not announce “last call”.
• State law requires that all alcohol service be suspended by 12:45 a.m.
• Any guest bringing personal alcohol to the resort may only consume it in their guest room. Drinking alcoholic beverages in hallways and public spaces, indoors or out, is not permitted by state law.
DEFAULT OFFERINGS
Throughout the Banquet Menu there are references to the following assorted offerings. The items included in each are outlined below. Additional items may be added at the resort’s discretion.

USE OF RESORT PROPERTY
The customer is responsible for any damages, loss or liability incurred by Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa during the period of time the customer’s invited guests, vendors or other agents are on resort property. Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa shall be fully reimbursed by the customer.
For the safety of guests and the integrity of the resort, no items are allowed to be placed on the walls or hung from the ceiling in any room of the resort. Any signage produced by the customer must be pre-approved by Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa. Promotional material prepared by the customer, or on the customer’s behalf, the mentions resort, describes resort services and/or showcases imagery of the resort must be pre-approved by Mountain View Grand Resort & Spa.
