BankingGoalsandObjectivesOverview

Thisfeatureallowsuserstocreatetheirownindividualbanksofgoalsandobjectivestousewhenfillingininformationonthe“GoalsandObjectives”tab.Thebankingoptionallowsuserstosavethegoals/objectivesthatyouareusingonaregularbasis.Userscandeveloptheirbanksfromthegoals/objectiveslists,byaddingcustomgoals/objectivesorbyimportinggoals/objectivesthattheyhavealreadycreatedforotherstudentsintheircaseload.TocreateyourbankofGoals:

1. Choosethe‘AddAnnualGoalsfromaBank’buttononthe“GoalsandObjectives”mainscreen.

2. Clickonthe‘ManageyouBankofGoals’button.

3. Onthefollowingscreen,auserwillhaveseveraloptions:

• ‘AddGoalsfromtheListstomyGoalBank’• ‘ImportGoalstomyGoalBankfrommyCaseload’• ‘EditCategoriesformyGoalBank’

To‘AddGoalsfromaList’toyourGoalBank:

1. Clickthe‘AddGoalsfromtheList’button

2. Choosetheappropriategoalcategoryfromthedropdownmenuandcheck

thegoalthatneedstobeaddedtoyourbank.

3. Oncethegoalshavebeenchosen,clickthe‘AddSelectedGoalstomyGoal

Bank’buttonatthebottomofthescreen.

4. Thegoalswillappearonthemainpageofthegoalbankscreen.

To‘AddCustomGoals’toGoalBank:

1. FromthemainGoalBankscreen,entercustomgoalsintotheavailabletextboxesandclick‘Updatethedatabase’.

2. Thecustomgoal(s)thatyouhaveaddedtothebankwillappearonthemainmenugoalbankscreen.Theasteriskinthe‘Custom’columnwilldenotecustomgoals.

To‘ImportGoalsformyourCaseload’intoyourGoalBank:

1. Clickonthe‘ImportGoalsfrommyCaseload’button.

2. Checktheappropriateoptionandclick‘ImportGoalsfrommyCaseload’.UserswillhavetheoptiontoonlyimportgoalsfromthestudentwhoseIEPtheyarecurrentlyworkingonorfromallstudentsontheircaseload.Additionally,auserwillhavethechoicetocreate(orimport)categoriesfromthegoalareaofthegoalsintheircaseload.(SeeCategoriesbelow)

3. Thegoalsthatwereimportedwillappearonthemaingoalbankscreenwithanygoalsthathavebeenaddedformthelistorcustomized.

To‘EditCategories’inGoalBank:Ausercancreatecategoriesintheirgoalbankthatwillhelptoorganizetheirgoalsbysubjectarea.Toaddcategories:

1. Clickonthe‘EditCategoriesformyGoalBank’button.

2. Thecategoriesthatauserisalreadyusingormighthavepreviouslyenteredintoyourbankwillappearatthetopofthefollowingpage.Enterinthenamesofthenewcategoriesinthespacesprovided.

3. Click‘Updatethedatabase’.AssigncategoriestoeachofthegoalsfromthemainGoalBankscreenviatheassociateddropdownmenus.

4. Oncetheappropriatecategorieshavebeenassigned,eachgoalwillbestoredunderthatcategoryandwillberemovedfromthemainGoalBankscreen.Toaccessthesegoalswhenauserisassigninggoalstoastudent,choosethecategoryfromthedropdownmenuatthetopofthescreen.

5. Theavailablegoalswilladjustaccordingtothecategorythatischosen.

Adding,Customizing,andImportingObjectivestoyour‘ObjectiveBank’:FollowthesesamestepswhencreatingyourBankofObjectives:

1. ToaccesstheObjectiveBank,clickonthedetailsbuttonofoneofthegoalsonthemainscreenofthe“GoalsandObjectives”tab.

2. Clickthe‘AddObjectivesfromBank’buttonatthebottomofthescreen.

3. FollowthestepsthatareoutlinedaboveforaddingGoalstotheGoalBank.AddingObjectivestotheObjectiveBankfollowsthesameprocess.

Onceauserhassuccessfullyaddedgoalsandobjectivestotheirrespectivebanks,theywillbeabletoaccessthesesavedbankseachtimetheybegintoentergoal/objectiveinformationforindividualstudents.Addinggoals/objectivesfromtheirbankwillsavethemtimewhenfillingininformationonthistab.
