Introduction:

Nowadays a lot of candidates are working hard to get a bank job . One of the maingateway to reach the goal of bank job is through IBPS.

IBPS (Institute of Bank Personnel Selection) has introduced the concept of CommonWritten Exam (CWE) for Officer and Clerical cadres.

IBPS will conduct this exam 2 times in a year, once each for Clerks and ProbationaryOfficers. The candidates are to take the test only once to be eligible for all public sectorbanks.Each Candidate will be given a scorecard,and they can apply to the bank/s of theirchoice.

The common exam model will cover job vacancies in the following banks:- Allahabad Bank Andhra Bank Bank of Baroda Bank of India Bank of Maharashtra Canara Bank Central Bank of India Vijaya Bank UCO Bank United Bank of India Union Bank of India Syndicate Bank Punjab & Sind Bank Punjab National Bank Oriental Bank of Commerce Indian Overseas Bank Indian Bank Dena bank Corporation Bank

Please note That State Bank of India & its 5 associate banks do not participate in thisprocess and they will conduct separate tests whenever required

Structure Of Examination:

a) Pattern of Exam:

b) Negative Marking - 1/4th or 0.25 marks assigned to the question will be deducted.

c) Cutoff Score: Each candidate will have to secure a minimum standard score in eachof the tests as well as on the Total Weighted Standard Score to be called forinterview.

d) Interview: After getting the position in the list of shortlist of the candidates for CWEPO -III, the particular organization will be called for the interview. The total marksfor interview are 100. The marks should not be less than 40% to qualify theinterview. The weightage ration of CWE Exam and interview should be 80:20.
