Maintain payment me i!m formats

&he payment medium ormats can be changed according to the user needs in &#

/B$M7. #lso the user can create new ormat by using

,n our illustration the standard "#$ ormat #C6 has been used. &he ormats have been de!ned using unction modules in the orm o events.

"#$ has prede!ned the ollowing events and any customi*ations to the codes haveto be routed through the "ample Function Modules <7 <= 77 87 etc. For instancei there are some changes in %vent 8< the same has to be incorporated in "ampleFunction module in %vent 87. /nce event 8< is reached event 87 will also betriggered.

Interval 1 Interval Unit( &he intervals in which the bank statements are to bee4pected or the corresponding set o Company code house bank > #ccount ,5 aremaintained here. &he interval unit can be either days weeks months or year.For instance i the bank statements are to be updated daily maintain ,nterval asA7 and ,nterval unit as ACalendar 5ays .

2actory Calen ar I,( ,t is used to distinguish between working days and non+working days. ,n the above illustration A,E has been chosen as the actorycalendar ,5 which means that settings relevant or ,ndia will be considered.

&he work ow comes into use at this stage. Basically the work ow system uses twotypes o ob ects or the approval mechanism N BE3 ,E, and BE3 C/M.

&he change and release procedure makes use o the !rst ob ect -BE3 ,E, while the

additional release procedure uses the other ob ect -BE3 C/M .

&his is called as Kchange and releaseL step because only at this stage the user hasthe option to AChange the batch be ore Areleasing it to the ne4t level o approver

or his approval. ,n the second and later levels the users cannot edit the batch. &hey only have the option to K#pproveL or K(eturnL the batch.

,n the change and release option !rst we assign role to the release steps'

#ny user is treated as a role and work ow is assigned or the particular role. &heob ects pick up the role rom the rule ,5 speci!ed in this step.
