Chulalonkorn University

Chulalongkorn University, Thailand’s oldest and most prestigious university, has been instrumental for the country’s development since it was founded in 1917. The university today consists of 19 faculties, 23 colleges and research institutes. Currently there are over 39,750 students and 2,800 faculty members.

EBA

The Bachelor of Arts program in Economics (EBA) is a four-year international undergraduate program offered by the Faculty of Economics. Since its inception in 2002, the EBA has sought to invite outstanding professors and professionals to conduct lectures and bring their area of expertise to strengthen students' caliber. These teaching assets inter alia include Prof. Edward Tower from Duke University, Prof. Steven Rosefielde from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Prof. Stefan Collignon from Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa.

Academic excellence Summer school courses are taught by experienced visiting professors with state-of-the-art research in their respective fields.

International experience International study experience is a great way to improve multi-cultural and problem-solving skills. In addition, successful students receive academic credits that may be transferred back and counted towards their degree at their home university.

Unique study environment While Thailand is located in the heart of Asia and ASEAN, Chulalongkorn University is situated right in the heart of Bangkok. Bangkok is a fascinating and thriving metropolis and many other Asian countries are just a hop away. As part of the summer school, a variety of activities will be offered, such as, for example, local excursions, Thai boxing and cooking classes.

Tuition fee and payment The tuition fee is 71,000 Thai Baht (approximately US$2,000). This covers the fee for two courses, single-room accommodation (excluding utilities), and some activities. Approximately 10,000 Thai Baht are needed for living expenses per month.
