Crime against women in India!

Countrywide numbers for crimes against

women have also markedly increased,

according to data from the national crime

records bureau. The number of reported

rapes, for instance, has shot up 30 percent

over seven years to 21,397 in 2009.

Moreover, those figures could just be the

tip of the iceberg. Smaller sample surveys

indicate that crime records could just be a

fraction of the actual number of crimes

against women.

Crimes against Women: Rape, kidnapping and abduction for specified purposes, dowry death, cruelty by husband and relatives, molestation, sexual harassment and importation of girls.

The most recent case of Delhi Brutal Gang Rape has Shocked India ! The

crimes against women has been increasing YoY!

One walk that changed the course of Indian Independence Movement It was the first act of

organized opposition to British rule after Purna Swaraj, the declaration of independence by the

Indian National Congress. When Gandhi broke the salt laws in Dandi at the conclusion of the

march on April 6, 1930, it sparked large scale acts of civil disobedience against the British Rule

Salt Law by millions of Indians DANDI WALK!

staduim. The walkathon starts from the

Kranteerva stadium and enters Cubbon Park

via Hudson circle.

• From Cubbon Park it comes out at the Vittal

Malya Road.

• From Vittal Malya Road it comes back to

Kranteerva staduim.

• The approximate distance is 4 Kms
