Duet THEME – THE MEANING OF FREEDOM Each House must showcase this theme in ANY ONE of the mentioned categories. RULES – 1. Each house will get a maximum of 15 minutes on stage. 2. In the band category, there can be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 students performing. 3. A band song may include vocals, or it can simply be an instrumental piece. 4. In the duet category, there has to be 2 vocalists and a maximum of 2 instruments being used. 5. Midi Devices and Loops are allowed. Sound Samples can be of maximum length of 15 seconds and must be pre-approved. 6. Points will be deducted for crossing the time limit of 15 minutes, exceeding the 8 people limit on Band song and 4 people limit on Duet, and for using vulgarity on stage. 7. Participants may request assistance with stage lighting and visual sequences, from the students who will be managing the light and sounds box.

RULES –

9. The criteria for judgment on the basis of which points will be given are as follows : Proficiency/Demonstrated skill, Stage Presence/Band chemistry, Originality, Interpretation of theme(Category specific).

10. The judges’ decision will be final and binding.
