bandana design challenge! challenge submissions due June 1 st , 2020 by 11:59 pm To help our 4-H members feel more connected during this time apart, a green bandana will be given to each 4-H member in Snohomish County 4-H, generously donated by Flyin’ Lions, a local business that has been a long-time supporter of 4-H. This week’s challenge is to submit a design idea that shows how 4-H will keep us all together this year. Members will vote for their favorite design. The winning design will be printed on all the bandanas before one is distributed to each 4-H member. We hope you will all join in the creative fun! official challenge instructions . . . Step 1) Fill the triangular design space with words or drawings to show how 4-H will keep us all together this year. Be sure to follow these art guidelines: Your design space is a triangle that is 13 x 13 x 18.5 inches. For hand drawn art, please use a fine black Sharpie or similar. Everything you draw in black will be printed in white on a green bandana. For best results, keep your lines clean and avoid small details, tiny lines, and shading. For computer designed art, the design must be black on white with no shading or very thin or fine lines. If clipart is used, it must be royalty-free and not copyrighted material or ideas. You can also use hand-drawn art along with computer generated lettering or vice versa. Step 2) Once your design is complete, save it, scan it, or take a picture of it to prepare it for submission. We can only accept submissions via email. If you have questions about how to accomplish that with the technology you have available to you, please reach out to us so we can help. Email [email protected] or [email protected]. Step 3) Submit your design via email. Be sure to include answers to the Challenge Questions and email to [email protected] by June 1, 11:59 pm. Challenge Questions Answers to these questions can be typed in an email, written and scanned and attached to email, or you can take a picture of your answers to attach to the email.
