MUSIC TUITION2016

Music tuition is encouraged for all band and ensemble members plus elective music students. Students who have private lessons typically improve more rapidly and develop confidence more quickly with individualised instruction.

St Patrick’s College is privileged to have a dedicated team of qualified and experienced music tutors offering high-quality music tuition on most instruments.

Individual lessons are best, but shared lessons may be possible if you have a friend learning the same instrument and you are approximately the same standard. Weekly 30 minute lessons are recommended but more or less can be negotiated directly with your tutor. Before-school, after-school or lunchtimes may be available but these times are often reserved for Senior students. However, many of our tutors work at other music studios during after-school hours, so don’t hesitate to check all available times and venues with them. Tuition arrangement, timetabling and payment should be organised directly with the music tutor. Below are the contact details for our recommended tutors.
