Product development
BanBao’s design team is passionate about its products and aims to create
innovative play sets which not only stimulate young imaginations, but
encourages spatial awareness fostering a child’s educational development.
To ensure that every play set achieves this aim, BanBao conducts market
research and product testing and continually monitors packaging
development and children’s play experiences.
Worldwide Distribution
Our distributors around the world are focused on building solid relationships
with both retail and educational partners. Today, the BanBao brand is
distributed in more than 46 countries and distributors provide a level of sales
service to both the retailer and the end-user. Distributors also offer
marketing support to ensure on-going success of the brand in their stores.
Production Facility The BanBao range continues to grow offering a comprehensive range of high
quality products – all building bricks are made from 100% ABS plastic and
are manufactured using the most advanced CAD/CAE/CAM technology.
BanBao production facility is based in Shantou, China, established in 2003
using an existing moulding development plant and the exclusive distribution
rights of ’Chi mei’ with an advance production plant of 30,000 square
meters.
ToBees Unique to BanBao is its extensive community of ToBees characters,
inhabitants of BanBao World, each with their own personality, distinctive
short legs and friendly appealing faces. ToBees add a new play dimension to
the brand by creating a population of figures which children can relate to,
encouraging an added level of imaginative role play to each construction
activity.
Every current BanBao play set includes relevant ToBees figures, from fire
fighters and police officers, to shop owners, train drivers, brides and grooms
– and it is this exclusive community of characters which is core to the
success of the BanBao brand and will be key to future marketing activities.
In Store Marketing Eye-catching, effective Point of Sale (POS) is imperative to the success of every
brand and the reason that BanBao has invested in creating targeted in-store
communications available to all retailers stocking its products.
Working with retailers around the world, BanBao is constantly expanding and
developing its in-store marketing initiatives and continues to implement new
programs to encourage growth. BanBao offers a range of POS including in-
store display units, display models, store events, posters, TV commercial and

Educational Development BanBao works closely with educators and child development specialists
throughout the design process prior to launching new products. This ensures
that every play set is not only a great source of fun and entertainment, but
incorporates numerous educational benefits too, such as logic, co-ordination
inspiring imagination and creativity through role play.
In fact, more and more education providers are including BanBao toys in their toolbox of learning resources and consequently, BanBao is keen to work closely
with them to provide support and advice when choosing and introducing
BanBao’s Products to an educational environment.
Product Safety Besides designing and creating toys to stimulate and challenge a child’s
