The Tension Side AnchorWrap your tree protection and sling around second tree

Clip 2 carabiners through sling with the gates opposing

● Place your second line locker Around 80% away from the Static Side Anchor (about 16ft on 20ft)● See Step 2 for a reminder instruction.

The Primitive tensioning system● Pull The Tail from the line locker up through

the bottom carabiner on the second anchor● Then pass the tail through the carabiner on the

line locker● Continue back to the second anchor and go

down through the top carabiner● Now back up through the line locker carabiner● This last time through tuck the tail under the first strand. This creates a Friction Brake

● Now that you've made yourTensioning system PULL!!Pull as much as you can

● The longer the line is themore tension required

6

The MultiplierNow that you've pulled it tight, you will use the multiplier. ● Attach the extra carabiner to the sling

(beside/above the two in the system)

● Then make a bite on the tail (as close to the line locker as possible) and place it through the large ring

● Pull the ring up through the loop in the bite. ● This makes whats called a “Girth Hitch”● Now take the tail from the hitch to the extra carabiner● Back through the Large ring (creating a Z)● Pull the ring to the carabiner

Repeat this step until the desired tension is reached
