ACK NOW LEDG EM EN T S:

Bahá’u’lláh:

Thank you for being an inspiring being, and for helping me stand by my values as a Bahá’í, and giving me guidance on how I should live my life according to God.

My Loving Parents:

Though you didn’t love that I’m into religion you love my willingness to learn. Thank you for being there for me in my darkest hour, and being there all my life.

To my Brother:

Keep Being you, and you’re still annoying but I love you.

To my Sisters:

My Shout if we all go to the pub again, Mostly the Rockie, best pub food I ever tasted.

To the Wyong (NSW) Bahá’í community:

Thank God that I have been led to that house, to find this faith, and just so happen to accept the teachings of Bahá’u’lláh, and how you welcomed me with open arms and help me grow in the faith,

I shall remember you until my death on earth.

My bullies and those who hated me:

You may not be reading this, but if you are, thank you for pushing me to prove I can do something with my life. Even if this does not make me popular, I do not really care, that is not my aim, just to learn and report, but without you all, I would not be able to come to my current life with the same

thoughts. Without you, I could have been dead by now. So thank you very much.

The Mormons:

Thank you for teaching me of your faith!

GENERAL INFORMATION

INTRODUCTION TO THE SERIES

INSIDE SPY series is an detailed account from an Bahá’í where he meets a person, or a group of repersentives of a particular faith regularly either in their Place of Worship, or a public place like a café, or even a fast food restaurant. The Author of this series, Dean Liddell, is a Bahá’í and loves learning of the faiths of others, and loves writing in general, so He decided that, whilst writing a report, for the LSA of the Bahá’í community he lived, he decided to share it with multiple people. Though both reports are different, they both contain the same overall message of the report, but these accounts are for the public.

This book is not to promote the faith of the author, nor is it to promote the other faith which is being talked about, it is to promote an interfaith dialogue between all faiths, and religious movements. Understanding that people of the faith, which is being talked about, may feel offended. In addition, the author tries to write it in a way not to make anyone angry without going against the mission of writing this series. Which is to promote an inter faith dialogue, so that we will have peace among religions. I’m not saying that some movements are not Bad, but just so we can have peace between religions.

There are many Religions on the earth, but some attack other faiths on dogma and sometimes by weapons, some promote unity and practice it, but sometimes it’s not received well but some other faiths. This is so all can achieve peace in our time and so that there are no longer prejudice, and wars between religious groups and traditions.

INTRODUCTION FOR THIS BOOK Hello My friends, from all faiths, cultures and walks of life; Prior to you reading this book, I would like to say that this is not an official view from the entire Bahá’í faith of the Mormons, I do not claim that I am speaking on behalf of the faith I believe in. This is the story of my investigations of the church, all will be recorded in full. In addition, I will not share names of any Mormon I come into contact with, for privacy reasons, but in terms of place names, if it’s a public place, religious or even a café, I will post the address or just the name of the church, or place. In terms of a private place, it’s obvious that I will keep that private out of respect for the people who live in the walls at the time and the future. I don’t want this to be like a cult following. Each of the occasions, will consist of additional thoughts, additional questions that I may not have asked at the time I have met with the Mormons. This book isn’t to convert people from an religious movement to the Bahá’í faith, this is an book to transmit my accounts of meeting the Mormons, to the public. At the end of the book I’ll give an educated opinion of the Church, from the accounts, their “proofs” of the Book of Mormon being another testament of Jesus Christ or is it Just a lie. Now I know that all people who know of the Mormon Church have an opinion on the church, prior to meeting the Mormons, I thought they were talking in an crazy tone of voice, always smiling, having a box of material for anyone who wants to meet them. However that is sometimes not the case, but they are crazy. In addition, I do not plan to convert any readers to my view of the Mormons, not become closer to the Bahá’í Faith, I am just writing my accounts of the Mormon Church, their beliefs and how they show it onto me. Thank you, Dean Liddell

The Encounters

The First ENCOUNTER

DATE: 21st October 2015 PLACE: 50 Pearce RD, Kanwal, New South Wales TIME: 11:45am Hello Friends; On the Back to the future day for those nerds out there, in other terms 21st October 2015; I met with three Mormon missionaries from the Tuggerah Ward (Whatever that means in the Mormon movement) at the Kanwal church. We talked about the Mormon Church, its history and some questions I had about the movement (that I could think of at the time). The Encounter was originally planned for the Saturday prior, however the team was overcame with little bit of a sickness. The Day was a warm day, about 28 degrees, and quite windy. I arrived at the church around 10:38 am; around an hour prior to the meeting was meant to be starting. I read the introduction to the Book of Mormon, according to the Mormons; it is an equal to the bible, maybe, even as equal as the bible. It states (in brief) that all humankind must read the Book of Mormon, Ponder on it and then ask God in the name of Jesus. However that’s assuming that if one reads the entire Book of Mormon he will be automatically turned into a Mormon, this is what I get from the last two paragraphs (mainly the second last one), When I asked them about this, they were somewhat assuming this too from what I gathered. When I walked into the meeting room, It was them on one side of the room, I, the other. It found it like I was going to be interrogated by the church, something like the church of scientology would do. However, this is the recordings of this event, this meeting between a Bahá’í and the church of Mormonism. The missionaries talked about how there are many things in this world, which displeases God, they however did not talk about what sort of things, and my guessing of this topic, from my knowledge from when I was a Christian is the following: The other religions that do not follow their religion (Christianity), Wars, Divorce, and terrorist organisations. However, that everyone (who believes in God or gods) would have different answer to this rough topic. According to the Mormon missionaries, The Book of Mormon brings EVERYONE closer to God, even those who, from what I gathered, even those who do not become Mormon. This does not make sense. For as a Bahá’í, not speaking for the entire Bahá’í faith, but I’m Taught, well I believe that, all people can come closer to God, not from a book, written by a person whom claimed to be prophet. A man that tells stories, how can such a man be a storyteller and a prophet? Joseph Smith, to me was a liar, telling the world so many lies, writing that there were swords in a place the inhabitants couldn’t make any metal, So how can this be? I ask them and they said, “God commanded it to be” To have weapons on sides, the attackers and the ones who need defending? This does not make sense for the historical record that I have come across of the time and era these were meant to happen in. they said in brief that it does not matter if there were no scientific proofs that there were swords or not, it’s all about Heavenly Father. However, there are more scientific facts of the bible, rather than the book of Mormon. In which they also said that no one could proof that the Book of Mormon is wrong? Nevertheless, what makes it so right? They nether address this or suggested it to be true, then again I did not ask. They spoke their testimony of the church, The Male in front of me and my contact inside the church went first, He Was raised, from what I gathered a Mormon, and he did not “ask for the sake of asking”, yet, how can I tell that this was true? He also said “no one can lie about his testimony, for this saddens Heavenly Father”. However, I wasn’t brave to bring it up, could Mr Smith be lying about his sights, his mind and his testimony, or was he telling the truth? The fellow on the right side also spoke his testimony, He was, from what I understood, an atheist, yet his brother was a Christian, and they tried the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, but none liked, He prayed like Mr Smith, too find which is true, what church should he join? Then a pair of

Page 6: bahai spy.pdf

6

missionaries came to him. Then he joined after constitutions. The fellow on my right, an Kiwi, or maybe Mori, he shared his testimony as well. He family was both Church of England and Bahá’í. However I do not know, nor do I remember if he said his parents were both Bahá’í and Church of England or one or even the other. They all said that I should Read the Book of Mormon, ponder on its message and ask in the name of Jesus, as I said prior it assumes by reading this I will automatically become a Mormon or even a Christian again, well that is what I feel by them suggesting that. We spoke about prayer, how to pray in the church, and just in general, according to a material they gave me, the way to pray “properly” it’s the following: You should address your heavenly father (God), For example, “Dear Heavenly Father…” Express the feelings you have or any questions or requests, mainly about the truth of The Book of Mormon. Close your prayer in a very simple manner by saying “in the name of Jesus Christ, amen” (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2008) I offered a prayer from the Bahá’í prayer book, and another one just to make them happy, (in the style above). I would not know about the Bahá’í stance on that sort of thing, a Bahá’í praying in “the name of Jesus” when at a Christian church. Overall, the meeting went well, it went for around an hour, and we left on a good note. I gave them three booklets about the Sydney Temple, The Bahá’í Faith, and what the faith does, As in Children classes, and more. They had not commented on this material yet. We have decided to meet on the 30th of October. We have not agreed on an agenda, but I have agreed to read the book of Mormon, but I will do it without the Bahá’í googles, and with the Bahá’í googles. I shall read both the Book of Mormon as if I am joining; however, I will critic the book of Mormon with Scientific proof, and other historical proofs of the Americas of the time from 2200BCE to 421BCE. THE SECOND ENCOUNTER

DATE: 21st October 2015 PLACE: 50 Pearce RD, Kanwal, New South Wales TIME: 11:45am On the 30th, I met with Mormons, at the Kanwal church and they showed me the Mormon DVD The Restoration from start to when he saw God and Jesus. The DVD is about the history of the Mormon revelation and the Mormon prophet Joseph Smith’s History and how he became the Prophet, this is a story that can be found online, and it reads:

“On a spring day in 1820 14-year-old Joseph Smith sought solitude in a grove of trees and prayed to know which church was true. God the Father and Jesus Christ, "two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description," appeared and spoke with him.

Wondering which of the many churches to join, Joseph had followed the counsel in the Bible's book of James: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God." The Lord told Joseph "that all the religious denominations were believing in incorrect doctrines" and that he was to await further instructions from on high. "In a state of calmness and peace indescribable," Joseph left that sacred grove knowing the reality of our Father in Heaven and His resurrected Son, Jesus Christ.

Joseph Smith's first vision stands today as the greatest event in world history since the birth, ministry, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. After centuries of darkness, the Lord opened the heavens to reveal His word and restore His Church through His chosen prophet” -http://josephsmith.net/article/the-first-vision?lang=eng

The reason why they wanted to show me is to prove to me that these words are his and to teach his history. And he was willing to become a prophet.

They want me to ask God about the Church, and they want me to consider joining the Mormon faith, however they didn’t seem to understand that I don’t want to join any other faith, but I’m only investigating their church, for I know nothing of the Mormons. However they seem to only want to know of their truths, not accepting that God had sent only one prophet for this time, and that’s Bahá’u’lláh, not Joseph Smith, and God chooses prophets not man, like the Mormon church.

I extended the invitation to The Birth of The Bab’s Holy Day this year. I’ve agreed to go to church for a sunday Signing Off; Dean Liddell

CRITICAL READING

In this section, named ‘Critical reading’ I critically read the Book of Mormon with an opinion after each day, as a fulfilment of the promised I made to the Mormon missionaries This is more like a diary of what I’ve read from this book and what I have learnt if I had learnt anything. Everyone who reads this book (The Book of Mormon) will have differing views of The Book of Mormon and may disagree with me, and of course, Mormons will disagree with me, for the take the book on faith, well the ones I have met.

OCTOBER 22ND, 2015

INTRODUCTION TO THE BOOK OF MORMON

The Book of Mormon is a volume of holy scripture comparable to the Bible. (Smith, 1830) This is the first line to the introduction of this book, now ‘a volume of holy scripture’ is debatable for a denomination, and brings up an question, Is it okay for an denomination to have a individual scripture that is comparable to its parent sacred text? In my personal opinion, a denomination is not allowed to, yet a religion is.

It is a record of God’s dealings with the ancient inhabitants of the Americas and contains as the bible, the fullness of the everlasting gospel. (Smith, 1830) Woah okay, from what I understand of the main Christianity gospel, only the bible is the fullness of the Gospel, so why is it that it is written that the Book of Mormon is also the fullness of the Gospel? If the Mormon church was an ‘Christian’ denomination and not at all a cult, then they wouldn’t truly believe this right?

The book was written by many prophets and by the spirit of prophecy and revelation. (Smith, 1830) Now in terms of prophets, there are two types, Major Prophets, which are followed, and Minor Prophets, who themselves are followers. So in the book of Mormon, are they major or minor? And what Major prophet does these so called prophets follow if they are minor, if they are Major prophets? Then why do they seem to follow the one prior? Do they follow The Law of Moses? After Jesus are they still classed as a prophet or Christian according to the new testament? Also, we have proof of the Bible’s writings from across Israel and other nations, but we have no proofs of the Book of Mormon prophets.

Their words written on gold plates, were quoted by prophet-historian named Mormon. The record gives an nations, known as the Nephites and laminates. The other came much earlier when the Lord Confounded the tongues at the Tower of Babel. This group known as the Jaredites. After thousands of years, all were destroyed by the laminates, and they are the principal ancestors of the American Indians. (Smith, 1830) Now, The Gold plates, where are the proofs of these things that are on the gold plates that are said to exist? The two civilizations, the only one that I know of that were “great” in a sense that they can still be known they were there, the Aztecs, and they didn’t follow Jewish prophets for they had a religion which shared no connection of the Jewish faith. Now in terms of Native Americans, what undeniable proof does the church have outside of the Book of Mormon and it’s beliefs, what proof that the Native American tribes came originated by a group of people from the Middle East?

I’m going to skip a few paragraphs, to the part of Mormon’s Death, On September 21, 1823, the same Moroni, then a glorified resurrected being, appeared to the prophet Joseph Smith, and instructed him relative to the ancient record and its destined translation into the English language. (Smith, 1830) Though, from my understanding, Mr Smith did write about this, but wasn’t he also a story teller and doesn’t sound like an hopeful story for those who don’t like a traditional sect

Page 9: bahai spy.pdf

Bahá’í Spy

of Christianity? To me yes, however, I have not been able to fully study his diary and his testimony.

Again skipping a few chapters, Concerning this record of the Prophet Joseph Smith said “I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon is the most correct of any book on earth and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer of God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.” (Smith, 1830) Now, if I were to make a religion and claim to be a prophet, I’ll be saying the same things, even similar things like this statement. But How can one know it’s true? There are another two testimonies titled ‘the testimony of the three witnesses’ and ‘the testimony of the eight witnesses’ which I will talk about soon in this book. However it states in the second last paragraph that we should read the book of Mormon, Ponder, and ask in Jesus’ name if the book is true? However, can we just go by feelings or facts as well? Because I have feeling that Australia will have a civil war, but is there proof of this going to happen? No. What proof is there that this book is the truest book on earth? Now I cannot find any proof and none told me of these proofs as of yet. Here is a theory, if REVELATION was the ‘Last message’ until Jesus return, (which is estimated between 60 CE to 99 CE. Between the estimated time of his Death (33 AD) to even as early as 60 AD, why didn’t Jesus bring John (the commonly accepted author) the revelation that He (Jesus) was in the Americas? Cause from what I gathered from a previous reading, and a skim over, Jesus arrived in a physical manner, around 34 CE. So, if Jesus was in the Americas, and the earliest suggestion of the book of revelation, then why doesn’t it say he was in both Judea and Americas? I do not know of this from a Mormon view, but understanding mainstream Christianity, I would have to say this is all made up, falsified, came from no more than a liar wanting to be remembered in history. However, this is an early statement, hence why I shall study continually of this movement.

Now in terms of the quotation from Mr. Smith in the introduction, “I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon is the most correct of any book on earth and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer of God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book.” (Smith, 1830) It makes me feel that I should start calling this movement a religion and enter new religion, and not about of Christianity, not just from this statement yet due to the so much differences between Christianity and this movement, so from today, this is classified as a religion.

THE RESTORATION OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

As I wrote about in my first encounter of a booklet named The restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ, I shall now read this fully and investigate what it has to say.

GOD IS YOUR LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER

In this section, it states that God wants you to be happy in this life and in eternity, to do this, God provided plan called the gospel of Jesus Christ. What’s to come next? If you have never read this booklet, and I also assumed prior to continuing is that the plan is next, cause if you say “I’ve got a plan to get a book done and published” it suggest that if someone ask you’d give an answer. However, it continues as Jesus Christ is the Son of God; His life and teachings are the guide to peace in this life and joy in enternity. That is like saying “I’ve got a plan to publish a book by the end of next year, and this bunch of files is my guide on how I can do this” It doesn’t say how the plan will go, nor the actual plan.

Just imagine this conversation

Page 10: bahai spy.pdf

Dean Liddell

10

Me: What is the Goal of God? Mormon: To be happy in this life and the next! Me: What is the plan then? Mormon: Jesus shall guide us to this Me: How will he do this? Mormon: By His Life according to the bible and the book of mormon. Me: is there a simple book that can explain this to me? Mormon: Yes, the Bible and the Book of mormon? Me: could you just tell me what’s the plan? Mormon: We all being Saved? Me: Muslims are saved by the Muslim tradition, would they be happy in the next life? Mormon: No! Do not be ridiculous, they’re not saved! Me: Their Saved according to Islam, I’m saved because I’m a Bahá’í, will we be happy? Mormon: No because your not Saved because you don’t believe in Jesus. Me: actually we do, We Bahá’ís do believe in Jesus, and we believe that Jesus spoke the words of the bible, but as a prophet, not the physical son of God. So do Muslims, so are we saved? Mormons: No! Now I’m not saying all Mormons will act this way, but that’s not what I’ve heard, but this happened when I emailed a Mormon, not just an missionary but just an everyday Mormon.

THE GOSPEL BLESSES FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS

The gospel of Jesus Christ blesses anyone who accept and live it. One of the best places to teach and apply the gospel is in families. God has established families to bring happiness to His children, to allow us to learn correct principles in a loving atmosphere, and to preapare to us to return to Him after we die. That’s dark but Prior to Judaism, There tribal religions, where their principles wrong? What about Buddhist principles, are they wrong? No! you just don’t accept principles, unless they are done in the name of Jesus, right? That’s what I gather from these. The rest of this section talks about how the Gospel of Jesus can strengthen out families, but what if only one believes in Jesus, and the others are of another faith, or of no faith, how can this strengthen families? Cause in my experience, even has a Bahá’í the Bahá’í principles haven’t strengthen my family, even as a Christian the Christian principles didn’t strengthen the family I was in, and it didn’t with anyone else in a similar situation so how does ring true?

When the church wrote about prophets the list on which the scriptures shows a pattern of God reaching out:

God Chooses a Prophet The prophet teaches the gospel and leads the people God Blesses people People disregard or disobey the prophet and then reject the prophet and fall in to

apostasy Due to Apostasy, people lose knowledge of the gospel and priesthood is taken from

them. God chooses another prophet

A Bahá’í Version

1. God brings forth a prophet 2. The Prophet spreads the Good News of God, and His will. The prophet shows how the

people can know God 3. God Blesses the faithful 4. Some people shall fall from the faith in the prophet 5. In time, God shall bring forth another prophet

Page 11: bahai spy.pdf

Bahá’í Spy

11

And if gospel means ‘good news’ then the good news of Jesus is that God is one, Abraham’s gospel is God is one, Moses spoke that God is one, Muhammad spoke of God is one so yes That is good news.

OCTOBER 23RD, 2015

THE TESTIMONIES OF THREE WITNESSES

This testimony seems to be an prepared testimony, written in the same way as Joseph Smith’s testimony. This states that the three persons laid their eyes upon the golden plates the book is said translated from. However, this is a conflict for there is an account from the church that Mr. Smith was not allowed to show the plates for Mr. Smith said that he’ll be destroyed. How does that work? They saw these plates, and they weren’t allowed? This for me doesn’t make sense. The witnesses were excommunicated, so why is it still in the book? If I were in charge of a religion, I would remove them from the history of the faith, even the books.

THE TESTIMONIES OF THE EIGHT WITNESSES

Similar to the one above it seems to have been prepared, However written in another way, even more formal. When I was reading it seems to be a lie. They also claim that they saw these golden plate, I seem to find that these people were threatened from what I gathered from these words. For if I were seemly near a so called prophet I wouldn’t want to say no, but I know I did lie. But if this gold plates were real, where are they? Apparent it was taken away from Smith and he wasn’t allowed to show anyone, if this were a spiritual sight, someone who sees it with physical eyes can prove this thing was real, if it were real. However, a spiritual sight none can prove it. it is apparent that these two testimonies, are physical therefore I have concluded it is contrary to the religion’s founder, where he states he wasn’t allowed to for God said so, either these 11 witnesses to these golden plates were ether lying or are lunatics, believing their own lies.

THE TESTIMONY OF ‘THE PROPHET’ JOSEPH SMITH

This testimony is more descriptive and slightly more believable then the first two. However, there are some concerns that is raised from this testimony, it seems to be put together from various entries, by the way it is written. This is written like a short story with quotation marks in front of every paragraph. That seems a little odd, for no one that I know does that sort of thing, unless they are copying and pasting what they want to prove their beliefs, this can be observed by peoples of multiple faiths, not all, but a few people do such a thing, and can be seen with Christians and the bible. Now a for a the title of a prophet, the common meaning of an word is “a person regarded as an inspired teacher or proclaimer of the will of God.” Now let us look at his testimony, when he took a prayer, there was a supposed visitation, but of a deceased “resurrected” being named Moroni, does this mean is a prophet, no, but with addition, the message Moroni said to Joseph doesn’t mean his a prophet, nor does the other times Moroni talked to him. When Joseph translated a book, does not mean his a prophet, None came from God. Fan fact, if you think and believe your saw something then you would have to prove somehow it to us. Does it mean he’s a prophet when the only proof that is available to us is a few documents from people who already believe that he was a prophet, right?

The Book of Mormon has a few copied things, which can be found in other works, not just the bible (both protestant and catholic) but in books published around his time. Like the

Page 12: bahai spy.pdf

Dean Liddell

12

phrase, a narrow neck of land is interposed betwixt two vast oceans as found on page 598 of The Wonders of Nature by Josiah Priest, which was published in in 1825. However it is found in the book of Mormon, which was published 5 years later in Ether 10:20. Another quote from the work of Josiah, “from whence no traveller returns” (page 469), however, it is also found in 2 Nephi 1:14. "Darkness which may be felt.... vapours ... so thick as to prevent the rays of the sun from penetrating an extraordinary thick mist. ... no artificial light could be procured ... vapours would prevent lamps, etc. from burning. ... [T]he darkness lasted for three days." (p. 524) and "[They] could feel the vapour of darkness, and there could be no light ... neither candles, neither torches, ... neither the sun ... for so great were the mists of darkness ... [I]t did last for the space of three days." (3 Nephi 8:20–23). Does this mean he just copied the sayings from this other books? Maybe, However, when you considered that this testimony is more detailed then the other two, it seems like the church raises a man over God.

The Testimony of Joseph Smith, does not ring true, though this is the result of my pondering on what I’ve read, I did however ask God like I promised, and no answer. Prior to you saying a thing on this and sending me messages, I do believe in God, just not the same God as the Mormons. I did do what I promised, to read, ponder then ask God, And none of these testimonies rang true. I did read the same three testimonies that are in every book of Mormon, I am reading it with an open heart and mind, and I did ask God, through my prayer and the prayer the missionaries showed me. “Dear heavenly father, I pray you show me the truth of the Book of Mormon, in Jesus’ name, amen” and this three testimonies are not true for me. “But Dean, you’re a Bahá’í, of course you’ll agree it’s false” no, I’m not saying this because I’m a Bahá’í, I did pray both religious prayers, a Prayer from the Bahá’í pray book and the Mormon prayer I shared.

24TH – 30TH OCTOBER

In this time, I have read much of the book of Mormon, along with investigations with basic google searches, about its claims. I have not came across any proofs of the claims being true. Trust me, I have looked with a sincere heart, which they will ask you to do, which some will say that I didn’t really come across facts, and I just don’t want to believe. Which is true, I don’t want to believe in something that isn’t backed up with science. There is no proof that the Jewish Faith was in America, until recent times in earth’s history, and there is no proof that there was Jews that travelled to the Americas in the early days, nor even before the birth of Jesus. From the Bahá’í Scriptures Like, ‘Abdul-Bahá saying, "Moses taught that the world was brought into existence in the six days of creation. This is an allegory, a symbolic form of the ancient truth that the world evolved gradually... We thus have a progressive process of creation, and not a one-time happening. Moses' days of creation represent time spans of millions of years." (Science and Religion, p. 90). And; The forms assumed by the human embryo in its successive changes do not prove that it is animal in its essential character. Throughout this progression there has been a transference of type, a conservation of species or kind. Realizing this we may acknowledge the fact that at one time man was an inmate of the sea, at another period an invertebrate, then a vertebrate and finally a human being standing erect... Therefore, in the protoplasm, man is man. Conservation of species demands it. "The lost link of Darwinian theory is itself a proof that man is not an animal. How is it possible to have all the links present and that important link absent? Its absence is an indication that man has never been an animal. It will never be found."
