Parking in Baden

In the center of Baden in Austria it is only allowed to parkyour car for a limited period of time and you have to pay afee at following times: Monday to Friday: 8:00 to 12:00 and13:30 bis 18:00 o'clock, Saturday 9:00 to 12:00 o'clockMaximum parking time in the town center is 90 minutes.The parking fee is 0,50 Euro for 30 minutes. You can buy aticket directly at numerous parking ticket machines on thestreet. But you can also choose one of the parkinggarages. One of the best place to park you car in the towncentre is the garage at the Spa Römertherme. It isreachable by the Brusattiplatz or the Pergerstraße. You canfind this car park in the town center map Baden in Austriaat the square C2 and it offers 353 lots in a good location.The parking fee is 0,50 Euro for 30 minutes.

Arrival by car

Baden is located approximately 25 km in the south of Vienna. You can get to the exit Baden from both directionsof the A2 highway. Turn to the left at the 1st traffic lightonto the main road B210. After approximately 1,5 km takethe exit Baden from the B210 to Haidhofstraße. After approximately 400 m Haidhofstraße changes intoBraitnerstraße. Proceed on this road until you reach theroundabout after approximately 1,5 km. Take the first exit of

the roundabout onto Kaiser the Franz Joseph bridge. After the bridge you reach the next roundabout. Take there the2nd exit to reach Erzherzog Rainer-Ring which is already inthe town center of Baden. Please use the town center mapfor further orientation.

Arrival by Badner Bahn (Wiener Lokalbahnen - WLB)

The big advantage of the Badner Bahn tramway is thedirect connection from the city center of Vienna to the towncenter of Baden. The Badner Bahn drives several times per hour. One ticket at regular price costs 5,40 Euro per direction. The travel time from terminus Wien Oper to theterminus Baden Josefsplatz is approximately 1 hour. Arrival by train

With the train it takes approximately 30 minutes fromVienna to Baden. One ticket at regular price and per direction costs 5,40 Euro. You can find the details to thestops and the timetable under following link:ÖBB TimetableThe railway station of Baden is not directly in the towncenter but in walking distance. When you leave the railwaystation at the main entrance just cross the street to reach asmall park. Go straight ahead on the main path till youreach the end of the park. Now cross a street on the zebracrossing to reach the alley Bahngasse. At the end of Bahngasse turn to the right into Wassergasse. You can findthis crossing on the town center map in the square E1.

Public toilets

At following places you can find some public toilets in thetown center of Baden: at the Rathaus/town hall (D2,entrance in the courtyard beside the shop Tabak Trafik), inthe Kurpark (D3, right beside the main entrance), at theGrünen Markt (CD2, at the car park), in the Doblhoffpark(B2, small building beside the café), on the Josefsplatz atthe terminus of the Badner Bahn/Wiener Lokalbahnen (D1,small building directly beside the tracks).The toilets are marked in the town center map Baden withthe WC symbol.
