ABOUT SALLY
After graduating from Duke University, Sally began her career in advertising, and in her second year, won more awards than any other writer in the U.S. She was named “the most successful junior copywriter of all time.” At age 27 she founded her first creative hotshop, and next, opened the West Coast office of the legendary agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky as Creative Director/Managing Director.
In 2006, Sally undertook a three-year national study on persuasion, designed to find out why we’re influenced by certain people, companies, and ideas. Her research revealed: If we can fascinate a prospect, we can shortcut the selling process.
In 2010, HarperCollins published her book, Fascinate: Your 7 Triggers to Persuasion and Captivation. Already, it has been translated into 14 languages.
Based on her proprietary study of 1,000 Americans, Sally developed a personality test to measure an individual’s talent of persuasion, named the F-Score test (www.FScoreTest.com). In the past year, over 70,000 people have
taken the test to learn their natural fascination talent.

Today, working with companies such as Nike, BMW, Aflac, Godiva, Coca-Cola, MINI Cooper, and Target, Sally also works privately with many companies on helping their employees become more fascinating.
Sally frequently appears in national media including NBC’s Today Show and the New York Times. Her creativity has won hundreds of awards, and her advertising work hangs in the Smithsonian Museum of American History. Reality TV show Making It Big dedicated an episode to her as “advertising’s icon.” The press has described her as an “icon” and “the marketing mistress of fascination” who has “changed the face of North American advertising.”
Growing up with the last name “Hogshead” would give anyone an unconventional point of view. Yet all the playground teasing taught Sally how to turn challenges into competitive advantages.
