Saturday Activities (IIAs Interactive and innovate activities for imparting soft skills as well as hard skills

through the means of edutainment)are specially planned for developing the soft skills and life skills of

the students along with the hard skills they are getting through their studies.

Sociometry Test conducted with a view point of identifying the peer groups of students. Aim was to

make small groups of students in which they can solve each other’s problem and can help each other to

grow together. These small groups will have their own peer group mentor who is responsible for helping

the group to grow.

No Absentees initiative was taken to solve out the problem of reducing the absent level of students

even up to zero.

Internal Marks Assessment and Analysis is an initiative where teachers of all papers sit together with

student not only to help them rather to provide them solutions for further improvement.

5 o’clock elite group an initiative by the students to make their routine better by themselves. A group of

students are doing group studies after morning exercises by themselves only.

Cybershiksha is a unique plan through which few students trained the module of basic computer

education to the students of tribal areas of chattisghar for 30 days. Even these students hadn’t gone to

their homes for this work. The spirit of students is worth appreciable.

Sulekh was an initiative which came just after the analysis of internal marks that students need to

improve in writing so it was organized in order to improve the writing.

Resume workshop was an initiative by the students to learn by themselves as how they can move steps

ahead in making effective resume. It works a three hour session with ended with resumes in every ones

hand and lot of lessons related with it.

Tell me about yourself is a basic question which is asked to every one whosoever appear for an job

interview which going for placements. This basic question and its answers were rehearsed by the

students separately and effectively.

Prevision using notesization of DBMS is a common team work initiative for co-operational approach of

knowledge gathering where every student participated for prevision means they studies the topics

themselves before they were supposed to taught in class. Even they are ready with notes.

Emerging trends awareness campaign is a presentation series through which students got to know

about emerging trends and research and development in the field of computer science.

Technology in Use is the medium in which through group discussion and survey among each other they

finally go to know all the ways to avail technology for their life and uses.

SEA (Self Evaluation Analysis) was a survey prepared by students for self-assessment. Through this they

assessed themselves by themselves and now are working on areas of improvements.

CLT (Computer Literacy Test) was a plan through which the level of computer literacy was checked for

initial classes students.

Documentary Making is a way of expressing their own ideas and viewpoints related with their

experiences and leanings at dsvv.

Ganesh Chaturthi Quiz was an initiative by the students in which they worked as a team and did quiz.

Placement Lecture was organized to benefit the students for brining awareness in them about

placement.

Ergonomics – solutions was a workshop kind lecture taken by the Yoga Expert Samresh Kashyap from

Singapore

Idea for Digital India was a idea exchange forum in students of I,II and III year sat together to identify

challenges and solutions in the path of digitlizing rural india. Cybershiksha is an initiative through which

they are planning to support this thought.
