First Birthday

Our sessions require a deposit of $50 at the time of booking. This deposit will be applied towards the session price. The remaining balance is due at the time of session.

Helpful Hints for Newborn SessionsTimingNewborns are best captured within

the first 14 days of life; although you’ll get the best sleeping photos days 3-7. After that, they’ll start stretching more & sleep (a little) less.

SleepThese sessions are known to be

photographed while the baby is deep asleep. We recommend that you do everything you can to keep your baby awake up until the time of the session. Keeping your little one awake on top of your own sleep deprivation may be painful, but it will be worth it! They’ll make for the cutest photos & it’s easiest to move them into poses while they’re in dreamland. If your baby doesn’t sleep, wide-eyed photos can also be adorable! Every baby session is unique.

FeedFeed them right before the session.

We have a private area with closed doors you’re welcome to feed, burp, & change your baby at any time before, during, & after the session.

RelaxWe do this all the time! If your baby

is fussy, stay calm. Babies can sense stress & anxiety. A mellow environment will allow us to capture the photos we want. We can take breaks to cuddle them back to sleep, feed, or change them. We crank the studio heat & play white noise to make your baby feel warm & cozy, even during the adorable naked-baby shots.

PropsWe recommend bringing in your

own blankets, and items to make the session unique & personal. We have blankets, props, and items to help achieve our shoots. Let us know ahead of time what you need so you will love your finished photos!

LoosenAt least 30 minutes prior, be sure to

loosen diaper, socks, or any other tight clothing that could leave indentations. This will reduce photoshop work (Photoshop is an additional fee).

In Studio Newborn Session

This plan goes along perfectly with our Baby Plan to

create a collection of images of your child in their toddler years.

These sessions are for children ages 18 months up to 4 years.

Sessions must be used within a 14 month period.

This plan includes 3 sessions in the Lee’s Summit area (our

studio, James A. Reed Park, Unity Village or other). You can

change one of the 3 sessions to an on-location birthday party

shoot for an additional $95.
