nakitha scott“First Nakitha Scott is one of the best case managers that I have ever worked with. She is prompt and willing to assist me with PCP’s, YOQ’s and follow up visits with clients. Nakitha is always willing to as-sist clients in meeting their goals and help connect them with resources needed. Her clients always have positive things to say due to Nakitha’s respect of others and kindness. Second, Nakitha promptly volunteered to head up the Osceola Summer Program (a very large undertaking). She works to keep every MHP, MHPP, and our supervisor clearly informed of anything pertaining to the program. She works hard to coordinate with others to make the program best for our clients and easily problem solves when things come up. Recently our location for the program was compromised due to a storm. She immediately was brainstorming and contacting places to relocate the program for the week. She is always “client minded” and works hard to make the program something they can grow from and enjoy. Above all, Nakitha Scott is a hard worker with a smile on her face. She is highly regarded by the staff and clients at our clinic and should be considered for this award.” Submitted by Stacey Dalton, LCSW

The mission of Families Outreach is quite simple- bring hope to the fatherless. As commanded in James 1:27, Families Outreach seeks to do our part in caring for the over 147 million orphans worldwide. Our approach is threefold: assist couples adopting through financial grants, develop an active partnership with an orphan care provider, and mobilize the Church to become adoption/orphan advocates. We have awarded 14 grants to families from five different states so far this year in excess of $50k. We are also actively pursuing partnerships with orphanages. Kendall has traveled to Zambia and will travel later this fall to Uganda and Jon will be going to Ecuador and Ethiopia later in the year. We have great Families Outreach merchandise that we are selling to help raise money. We have four different Fami-lies Outreach t-shirt designs and four different Families Outreach logo coffee cup styles. Learn more about Families Outreach, read the blogs by Jon and Kendall, and see the great merchandise available at familiesoutreach.org, or “Like” us on Facebook.
