Strengths: We have nice num-bers with 50 or more boys out. Team scoring strengths seem to be in the throws, vault, middle distance, distance and sprints. We could put together solid relay teams.

Weaknesses: We will struggle with a lot of meets where we are the smallest school.

Top Newcomers: Kyle Petree, Zach Chromy, Eli Reiter, Travis Roh.

team goals: We hope to peak and finish in the top two teams at dis-tricts while qualifying a handful of athletes to state.

this season: Madison Kozisek has a chance to be our team leader and a standout performer in the jumps and hurdles, as well as, Becky Roh in the sprints, Allie Frasher and Clare Fiala in Distance, Bridget Sisco in the vault, and Kloe Ruth in the throws.

What are your goals and the team goals: To find our strengths throughout the season and to be peaking at Districts and State.

OAK CREEK SPRING SHOOTERS

Oak Creek 4-H Trap Club

Through rain, sleet, snow and shotgun shells, the Oak Creek 4H Trap Club will be in Doniphan competing in the Mid-Nebraska Trap-shooting Conference this spring.

The Club held quali-fications on March 11 to determine squad line-ups for the first conference shoot on March 18.

For the next six Sat-urdays, 23 shooters from 8 area high schools will make the trek, and all the shooters will compete at State in May.

This year there are 15 senior level shooters and 8 junior level shooters. The coaches this season are Russ Tooker, John Moore and Dave Morgan.

Represented schools include: East Butler, Aquinas, David City, Seward, Our Redeemer Lutheran (Staplehurst), Shelby-Rising City, Wa-hoo and St. Wenceslaus (Wahoo).
